Hello:
I have a Provari V2 with a Kanger Pro tank, and everything has been pretty good these first few weeks.
However, just a few days ago, I started tasting this incredibly horrible, burnt metallic taste while vaping. It occurs with any flavor I try, from 4 different vendors, so it is not the e-liquid.
It has also happened @ pretty much any volt level I try...4.0, 4.2, 4.9....all across the board.
I have 2.5 ohm heads for the Pro Tank, so they should be able to handle those voltages, right?
The taste is not subtle. It is beyond disgusting, and so strong. It consumes the entire flavor...not just a hint of it, but the full flavor is this gut-wrenching taste.
The Provari head/heater/coil thing smells exactly like what the flavor tastes like, and it is enough to almost make me sick.
I did spill a bit of caramel e-juice down into the provari coil (thing that heats up, not sure if it is called a coil) recently...could this be it?
Should I send it back to be fixed? Or is this a problem that someone could help me with here?
Also, is there a chance that this odor means my Provari is damaged beyond repair?
Thanks so much in advance.
Oh also, I'd like to add that I searched the internet for an answer to this, and I could only find people who said they tasted a slight metal taste that some people even said they enjoyed. This is most definitely NOT the same issue as theirs, as what I am tasting is the equivalent to smoking a crankshaft.
