Hot Passthrough

I bought a passthough with cartos and 24mg vanilla juice,

IT gets HOT!.Yes the atty is wet to the point were dripped out by the battery(which i know isn't good)
NOT a good hitter at all.
Burns my lips and my throat.

HELP please!

what model are u using? i use a passtrhough Kr808 style and i understand what u are talking about. its because u are vaping at 5V when using passthough as opposed to about 3.7 on battery. the best thing to use on a passthrough if using Kr808 is the cool carts from V4L (other companies have them too but thats what i use) basically it is a high resistant carto that keeps it cooler...

I had tried the disposable ones,and thought this would be the next step,
before jumping to the starter kit.
Very bummed.

my 510 atty gets hot on the PT but the actual PT itself (the 'battery' part) doesnt get hot...maybe a faulty PT?

I don't have that model, but my 801's will ground out sometimes if they are screwed on to tight. That would make the battery hot, but on a pt an error would come up on the usb device. The post above is correct by saying at 5v, it's gonna be hot. If it's a problem for you try another style atty. Or maybe a drip tip. The stainless steel one I have on my screw driver seems to always be cold to the touch. Hope this helps.

Not the battery, the atty and the mouth piece gets very hot.

I'm using a 510 PT as my primary vape machine. I have the one with the inline battery. The atty does get hot when I chain vape for a while. At times it gets hot enough to burn my fingers (I know I shouldn't get it so hot but I do, no failures so far). I have one stainless drip tip and one plastic. The metal one would get so hot I couldn't put it in my mouth so I switched to the plastic on the PT and use the SS on the batteries.
It sounds like the OP is overfilling the cartos. Liquids retain and transmit heat better than air or vapor so it might heat the whole thing up too much. That would also account for the low vapor output also.

Check with Arno or Amanda at Awesome Vapor.com about your problems w/PT. They are extremely knowledgable and VERY helpful. Yeah, they're a supplier, but, imho THE BEST!
