I have been vaping all day with this at around 3.8-3.9v and can not get over how much better my liquid taste. Interesting because i can actually draw on it a couple times and inhale to my lungs and blow out some pretty cool clouds and my lungs don't bother me at all. The thing i love the most is that i can still get good flavor and a fulfilling smoke hit without feeling like i am scorching my lungs. Only thing i don't like is the box style given it is easy to knock over and shatter the tank.

Why does it show 0.0w on the display for watts?..it shows volts but the watts display as zero and was wondering at what wattage i am vaping at or how to know? when i hold down the top button it shows i can scroll from 6 to 30 watts and is currently set at 6...but why doesn't it show that on the normal display instead of 0.0w

That is ALL that Matters.

Sorry. Not sure what is Up with the 0.0W thing. I have Never used that APV.

I believe if I remember correctly (used to have an mvp awhile ago) your mod is in voltage mode where you can only adjust your voltage. Youll have to switch to wattage mode to be able to do that. From there based on your wattage setting the mod will auto-adjust the voltage to match.
***MVPs have 2 modes adjust voltage and one to adjust wattage***

Here found some text to help you:
Variable Voltage Mode:

Press the “-“ button for 3 seconds to enter variable voltage mode.

Variable Wattage Mode:

Press the “+“ button for 3 seconds to enter variable wattage mode.

Edit: simplified outdated info to show just the necessary act to change modes

That could be mutiple things.

vg/pg ratio. More pg gives u that harsh throat hit. Try max vg.
It could be too high of a nic level for you? (Doubt this though)
What did you use before? If ur not used to that low of ohms could also be the reason.
you didnt prime with wick? Could of been a hellacious dry hit.

im thinking its either 1 or 4 though
