Hello I have a couple of questions for you veterans. I am about a month into
vaping now. I've had my 510 since the 3rd of July. I have been noticing lately that my 510 is burning very hot and the vapor is also hot it's kinda like inhaling a mild version of pepper spray. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or if there is a solution. Thank you for your time
If you're using the same atomizer, then I recommend putting it in some high proof clear vodka and soak it for a half hour or so - the clear vodka should go to yellow, and then blow it out from both ends, put a few drops of
ejuice on the atomizer bridge and start it up. In some cases, the heating up can be caused by a build up on the coil - that Usually makes it burn cooler and not as efficient but we've seen the reverse where the ohms actually lessen making it run hotter. I'd test it with a multimeter but no need to do that now.
IF you changed atomizers then you might have a different type - low resistance or a non-joye atomizer that tends to heat up faster - they need to be kept very wet (without flooding of course). And with any atty, first sign of loss of flavor it's time to refill.
And if it's tasting like pepper spray, that is more likely the ejuice than the atomizer.
