Hello,

I got the Kayfun V4 few days ago. It's been doing all good, however, today I started to feel the vapour is really hot actually. I do use the same build just like I did it few days ago and it was fine previously. I used to do 6-7 seconds lung hits without any issues at all on 12 watts. But just changed it today (clean coil) to be clean one. I am using Kanthal D 0.30 mm with japanese cotton on 1.4 - 1.5 ohm ... so I usually lung hit for approximately 6 to 7 seconds and its getting me really good vapour production + throat hit ... today after I changed my coil I can't lung hit for more than 4-5 seconds normally without getting really hot warm vapour. I can even feel when inhaling with my tongue that its really warm vapour. What may cause this ? I use exactly the same built like I did few days ago and it's same e-liquid. Could be just my sensitivity or what possibly cause this ?
Also, is lung hit for 6-7 seconds normal at all at first place?
I am using regulated mod device if that matters...

I am somewhat new to vaping. Been vaping for few months recently, so please excuse me if these questions seems stupid to you. Thank you in advance!

Kind Regards.

Ok the real question is how the hell do you take 6-7 second lung inhales on a V4?!? That's dripper territory right there utilizing MUCH more airflow. Going to call you IronLung Remko lol.

You "could" have a hot leg in there that's heating up unevenly causing some harsh, hot vape. Do some dry firing and check the resistance as well. The V4 can also jump around resistance if you're not careful so your 1.4 at whatever watts could end up being harsher with a different resistance as it changed.

Yes, I do 6-7 seconds lung hits. Each of my hits lasts for 6-7 seconds, so you are saying thats too much?

Also, I am doing that on 12 watts normally. As I can see all is the same as previously but somehow today I cant take any hit more than 5 seconds because its really hot after that ... there must be something causing it ?

Maybe you are experiencing dry hits? I know from experience that no matter ho hard I try to be consistent on my builds (Lemo, Kayfun, Orchid) that now and again my build will give me dry hits, which are warm and harsh. If your coil is OK, you could try re-wick. Maybe you have a juice flow problem with this wick/build.

You know, make sure your juice control is open all the way. Sometimes it gets stuck on one of mine. That will dry hit.

I also had a mod that was working perfectly then all of a sudden started outputting way too much voltage. Even at 7W, it was frying everything. That's why I asked about the mod. I had to exchange that one.
