I doubt that it will work because SkyRC IMAX B6AC V2 requires not only Balance port to be connected to the battery, but the Positive and Negative wires as well. In that cable, two "Banana" plugs are wired in to the Balance charging port. Who knows, maybe it will work that way after all.

Looks good! Unfortunately for me Hotcig wants me to send the whole device over the faulty battery it came with. On the fence about this as I don't care much for sending anything back to China. Rather just buy a new battery and that will ensure I still have a mod and not somewhere lost in China.

They both arrived in perfect condition. About 3.3V in each cell and free velvet pouch. I bought them when they were $25.00 each.

Well my DX200 is off to the mothership as I have filed an RMA from fasttech. I could of shipped straight to Hotcig but frankly shipping to China is a . Wait times to and from FT makes no issue for me to be patient for.

I now don't know if it's the charger (imax b6ac v2 from fasttech) or the cable that is responsible for the overcharging.
I can't test the charger with sth else.

The imax with this cable is worse than the cheap charger hotcig supplies us.

Cheap fasttech copy? 42 dollars is not cheap, separate cable is needed? I'm really confused...

You may be able to find electrical meter test leads already set up in that configuration. That cable you bought may be responsible for imbalance noted.

Have you run the Balance feature if the Imax b6?

1. I don't believe that your charger is not one of the clones. Authentic one looks like this: SkyRC iMAX B6AC V2
2. I simply took the standard 4.00mm bananas, removed the springs and turned them to 3.00mm in my lathe. But, I'm sure if I didn't have a lathe, I would have used electric drill and a file.

I found a temporary solution and I'll stick to that for a while.
While using the same cable and charger I just monitor the charger and stop the charging when all cells reach 4.19 according to the charger.

This method gave me 4.18 4.21 4.18 which isn't so bad and if you set a timer when that happens you don't have to be above the charger for a lot.

In the meantime I told a friend to make me an appropriate cable and then I'll check if the problem is the charger or the cable.

My 2 extra batteries will arrive any day now and then I'm all set

Will use my icharger 208B to take them to a storage voltage and let them sit until I can run the battery
analyzer in escribe. Probably a few weeks.

Will make me 3mm bananas to use for charging on my 208B
Right now using stripped wires inserted into sockets on pack.

Took me a month to get FT to just let me return the battery without the mod, now that they received it, they are telling me they will not ship the replacement until 11/17. Should have sent the whole thing back and asked for a refund.

My Hotcig battery came healthy, both the one with the mod and the one I bought.
Gee Tpat, FT is usually pretty fair to deal with but that sucks.

I probably should of pushed harder to just send the battery back myself as well. Instead I sent the whole thing back which is bunk as the chip was perfectly fine to begin with. So now here I sit, right there with you, waiting on my replacement to ship. But I do have an RDA I bought recently shipped as well as some ejuice I won. So I got that going for me which is nice.... but I miss the lil tyke.
