Well folks, here it finally is at a much cheaper price on FT. Probably for one day only! But all available replacement packs and dual battery attachments are now listed.
$23.74 Replacement 2*18650 Battery for HOTCIG D-N-A 200W Box Mod (DX200, 2*18650, Black) at m.FastTech.com

Edit: if you do go for it don't forget RMBBUST is up again for a discount
I'm thinking of picking up the 2 x 18650 attachment. Not too sure if I want an extra 900 or 1300 mah pack. Don't see needing them if I have the 18650 pack. What are you planning on getting if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers,
Steve

Probably just the 2x 18650 attachment and that should be perfectly solid for me. I did play around with the idea of the Lipo packs as I don't heavily use a device and can get a day or so out of the 900mAh it came with. Only thing is I've shortened my collection of hardware by giving away the only dual 18650 mod I had (beat up IPV4S). Then the extra pair of batts I had, said screw it and gave them to a co-worker who bought my old Sig 150 back in April. Completely forgot about this at one time but that's fine. Now I can get some poo colored batteries just for this.

They are stocking Red and White replacement batteries and not Red or White mods?
As far as I see just the black version still. As for the other versions only place I've seen is those "Hero" or whichever mods. Ya know the version with the black buttons, different colors, and the "limited edition" versions.

They are stocking whatever they can in a reduced price. If they find them in a reduced wholesale price they will list them.
Classic example of how Chinese resellers work....

Btw I ordered a 2x18650 case. It's great timing cause their lipos aren't the best.
Awhile back they stocked the now defunct original black 900mAh Lipo replacement. For one day it was a good price then the next day, listed at twice the price. Pretty much the same price if one were to go through Hotcig themselves.

Remember it well. Tempted to order 2 18650, 1 900mah, & a 1300mah before they raise the prices again, but then I ask myself if these Dx200 units are worth me sinking another $100 into them. Really torn.

Maybe not so much spending $100 for all the attachments. But maybe, at least in my case, the dual 18650 and just buying batteries for that would be considerably cheaper. Never plan on using any wattage above 100w anyways!

They've already raised the prices on the accessories. However there is a coupon code (MAP) that brings it back down to the original price that they were listed at. I ordered the 2 x 18650 holder before they increased it with a 10% off code on top of it :)(unfortunately you can no longer do that now that you have to use the code MAP:().

Cheers,
Steve

Ha, knew it even though we've had plenty of signs the last time. Thankfully they did add a MAP code to it. I'm amazed on how fast it shipped out despite the "will ship in X amount of days". I suspect once everything is all set that I'll never use the Lipo again. I'll set it next to my small mech mod collection the "dire emergency collection".

I bought a 2nd replacement battery at the right time (1st round) never use it but I'm using my DX most of the time nowadays. I'm never all that far from a USB port though.
With this new attachment and for 18650s I can see myself making this a daily carry from that point on. Picked up a blacked out VCMT (vapeversary present to myself) that would be beautiful on this device for sure. Only thing is that I have to wait on the poo colored batteries as I ordered the 4pack separately.

So, as of today, my FT order of the dual 18650 attachment has shown up in the mail today. Quite excited to finally have another option outside of the original lipo it came with! Waiting on my order of HG2s to come in so for now I had a pair of VTC5s to throw in and try out. I have to say now the mod feels very wide with this new setup. Lets put it this way, I would dare to say it looks and feels like the Vape Cige Bigger box's little brother.

I received mine on Saturday. I've been using it since receiving it. Here's a post I made on another thread regarding it:

Speaking of the Hotcig DX200 and the dual 18650 battery compartment. I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet, but did find a video. I want to talk about the review first. In it Vapn Fagan says to switch between any of the batteries you would need to go into Escribe to change settings. That is only partially true. Switching between the 900mah Lipo and 1300mah Lipo, you really wouldn't. The only thing that would be off is the battery meter. They are both 3 cell Lipos (11.1v) and have the same discharge curve. The only difference is capacity, hence the battery meter wouldn't be accurate. Not a big deal imo.

Now if you're switching between one of the Lipo packs to the dual 18650 compartment you would need to change settings on Escribe. You are going from 3 cells (11.1v) to 2 cells (7.4v). Without changing at least that setting, you would get weak battery immediately. The discharge curves are also different between Lipos and 18650's. I changed from 3 cells to 2 cells. Uploaded a CSV discharge curve for Samsung 25R's (before doing that, I saved the Lipo discharge curve in case I want to switch back), switched soft cell cutoff to 3.3v from 3.09v, and changed watt hours from 9.99 to 18.5. Took me less than 5 minutes. The more I watch YouTube reviews, the more I realize a lot of the reviewers are technically challenged. Without further adieu, here's the up close of the 3 different batteries available for the DX200.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit I wanted to add a couple of things. The dual 18650 pack is a winner in my book. It does make the mod a tad wider, about the same as my IPV3 Li (dual 18650 mod), it is still shorter though and the depth is basically the same. It really has made me feel like I bought a new mod. It is available from FastTech for $23 and change by using the coupon code MAP. As a matter of fact, all of the battery packs are available there at a considerable discount when using that same coupon code.

As of now with the new add-on I plan on making it my daily carry well in step with the RX200. Had a few black velocity RDAs ship in with it as well (separate order of course). I expected it to be much larger due to the pack so it'll feel like a heavy wallet in the back pocket. My only wish was that the battery door just had a bit stronger magnets. The adjustment to the battery was a no brainer anyways after fiddling with the Reuleaux.

Been. While since this thread has been updated. Wanted to see if the finishing on the DX200 is holding up. Kind of want to pick one up myself just to see what it's like.
The rubberized skin has been holding up pretty well on my mod. So no complaints there or anywhere. Except the dual 18650 attachment makes it rather long.

just got the dx200 in yellow. so sadly hotcig will only carry batteries in black, white, red. Had to get a white 1300mah.

Also from what their China agent told me (hotcig is a chinese company based in Shenzhen) they're stopping production on the DX200 along with the batteries.

Their next mod is going to be a DNA75 device utilizing a single 26650 battery...seems like the trend for 2016

Well, that sucks, and after the got the battery issues ironed out. Seems like it's a pretty decent MOD for the money, and with the battery options. A LIPO only without the option of battery swap AND a small LIPO at that(900mah) wouldn't be usable/worthwhile for me. I like the idea of a 26650, but it seems the battery choices are a bit limited. It would be nice it we didn't have to worry about counterfeit/re-wrap and false marketing/ performance claims for batteries!

For me a 75w 26650 DNA seems like a nice option...I would use it for TC, the MOD would be smallish(when compared to a DNA200- not sure about pocketable though) and I could just swap batteries!
