just ...... I didn't buy the battery at $23 & change. Getting fed up w/ FT
I actually expect something more to happen with that price like it will drop back down or there will be a code to bring it down. That price just ain't going to fly.

I honestly hope so because I was going to get a couple. But due to constraints and what not I didn't go for it.

A noob question again as it's my first time using lipos.

For this hotcig type battery without a main charge connector can we charge the battery directly through the Balance port of Imax B6 or we need an adapter like this?
http://www.progressiverc.com/3s-jst-xh-charge-balance-cable.html

I'm so confused cause in the hotcig charger you only have to connect the battery to the balance connector.

I'm 90% sure that you can do the same thing with an Imax b6 but I prefer to ask first.
Thanks

(I think)You need to make an adapter to connect to the + and - on the battery (banana). Somewhere I think AMDTrucking posted a picture. Here's charging an Hcigar one: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/hotcig-dna200.698409/page-20#post-16671152
Your way I guess may work also, maybe someone will chime in on that.

I've charged mine with a imax b6 using a jst-xh 3s extension cable for the jst and used my 4mm banana to alligator leads that came with charger and just used a couple of screwdriver bits from my muliti bit precision bit set in the 2mm +/- female banana clip sockets on the battery pack w/ my alligator leads clipped to them. That was how I tested the capacity of the first pack.

Eventually plan to make a dedicated set of leads as soon as I get some 4mm & 2mm banana plugs. Was thinking of using a set of these but haven't confirmed size or the center measurements match: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Pcs-Dual-Banana-Plug-Gold-Plated-Screw-Type-Audio-Speak-Wire-Cable-Connector/121566543975?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=20131003132420&meid=87cfa911fae84e6397e0a45c5a8dac94&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=371309537859

Incredible mod for the money. Brilliant idea for the batteries to have a spare one with you.
Best available board on the market.

It's a shame that these hotcig policies ruin the mod's potential.
It would have been the best value for money DNA200 mod if the retail was 125 with 20 bucks for spare batteries without the need for coupons and stuff.

Many of us got this mod in the above prices which means the company still has profit.

Such a shame...
