Not if done right. All it takes is one script. Clearly they don't know what they are doing. Because there are so many better ways that this could of been handled. For one, inform people that the site was gonna be upgraded.
Second, write a script to make changes, not someone randomly clicking buttons. Hey, what's this button do?
Third, run the script on a test server. That way you know what will happen.
Forth, back up before you make changes. God I hope they created a back-up.
I just doesn't make sense to me why the did things the way they did. My only guess is that it was hackers or they clicked "OK" when an "ID10T" error popped up.

You know what sucks about all these new threads being made by the guess , you can't click on the persons who started the thread in the beginning profile, say if you don't want to read all the post and just want a quick look see at the owners post. This suck !
