Been using a couple mini protank II's for about 6 weeks and have been quite bappy. Like the BCC and these just work well.

Until a couple of days ago. I have 2 protanks and have 4 atomizers I keep in rotation. I periodically clean them up when necessary(soak, dryburn etc).

All of a sudden I can't get a decent vape of any of the tanks or atomizers. So I pull a new atomizer out and try it. Same thing. Burnt taste.

They all have clean coils. Some have 2 flavour wicks. 1 has 1. and tried it with none. Same thing. Always burnt. Even the new atomizer. Not sure what to do.

Have had to resort to using iclear 16's which I'm not incredibly fond of.

My first question would be what voltage/wattage you're running them at. I find going much higher than 8 watts or so tends to result in a burnt taste. Could also be your wicks not keeping up with your vaping.

Generally around 7.5. But when this started happening I've tried down to 6 just to see.

As for the wick problem. Like I said it happened with a brand new head as well.

I wouldn't really expect to see a problem at 7.5 watts. As for the wicks, it didn't have anything to do with new coil/old coil, depending on how rapidly you're vaping and how thick your juice is even a brand new wick could have difficulty keeping up with you. But this sounds like an "on every puff" thing, which I guess makes that a moot point.

Have you tried using a different liquid in it?
