Does anyone use any restraint when vaping in public? What is the most bold place you've ever vaped?

For me, it was on an airplane! I flew down to Orlando in April, I brought a Lavatube with me. I packed all of the most basic "expendable" vaping equipment I had. Since I was putting everything right in my carry-on. I figured I'd have better luck explaining it to a TSA agent in person, rather then someone finding my package suspicious and throwing it out. If they did infact confiscate my stuff, I figured a Lavatube would be less of a loss, then say my GG-TS or my Provari.
So I make it through to my gate, no questions asked. I'm sitting waiting to board my flight, and I figure why not go to the bathroom and assemble my vape! Naturally it was one of the most uncomfortable feelings in my life, assembling what is a very suspicious device to a non-vaper in the bathroom of an airport gate. So I get it assembled, and take a generous amount of puffs before I head back to my gate.

Once on the airplane, I had the window seat on the left side of the plane. Nobody sitting between myself and the man in the isle seat. Mid-way through the flight I decided to be daring and I placed my vape up my sleeve, leaving only the drip tip exposed. I learned a valuable lesson in "ghosting" my pulls to make no vapor appear after you hold it in for about 15 seconds, blowing what little vapor there was down to the floor on my left side. I went un-detected the entire flight. So naturally I repeated the process on my flight home!

I am very restrained, I once took a hit while driving some folks and one freaked out thinking I was smoking. If my employer had decided that vaping = smoking I could have been fired. I decided then that not everyone will see vaping as inoffensive and it is still a good choice to be stealthy with folks you don't know.

I'm in king county Washington and its not allowed anywhere inside in the county but me, I guess I am a bit of a rebel as I don't really give a rip and am vaping everywhere I went today, started in a physical therapist office, went to jack in the box and then to the doctors office.

I just vaped on the bleachers at my sons football game on Saturday. I had a few strange looks but nothing more. I use a pink plaid skinned Provari with a tank so it was obvious that it was no cigg. I just figured if anyone said anything I would say it was an e cig with no nic liquid to help me not smoke. I am just such a nic freak that I always miss half of the game because I am out 100 miles away from the game smoking. This time I got to watch all 6 of his tackles. Go Raiders!

Hmm, good bunch of thoughts, it might something I should consider. The less it resemble a cigarette the better.
Maybe I need a mini that resembles an Inhaler

If i feel like vaping, I vape. 24/7 while I'm driving. I've vaped in stores....

I've vaped in places I was told I couldn't vape(I was intoxicated and my "I know better" went out the window) like a concert for example.... In my mind at the time... I was offended being lumped in as a smoker.

Oooh, I've also vaped in the movie theater. No one really noticed/cared. I stealth vape in places like that where it's iffy if I should or shouldn't. Most of the time I won't vape where you typically can't smoke unless I really feel like I need a puff.

I guess I would say I'm pretty bold with my vaping. I've vaped at a Trader Joe's store, McDonald's, at a pizza place, at a HS football game on the bleachers, even in a college class! I don't mind vaping anywhere outdoors in the public. Probably even more places I'm forgetting. Hahaha :D. I've never been confronted by anyone. I've gotten some weird looks, but that's about it.

My dad once tried it at the airport a few years ago, before these were popular. He had a long layover and didn't want to do deal with leaving the terminal and security, so he went to one of the wings that wasn't being used and sat there while stealth vaping, pretending to read a book. He said a security guard came out, walked around, didn't say anything, and went away. Shortly after that, another security guy came out with a dog, walked around, they didn't smell anything, so they went away. He didn't want to look conspicuous and run after that, so he sat there for a little bit longer, then got up and left. Me, I don't NOT vape while in public, but I do stealth vape. Only when I'm at a place where smoking is allowed do I actually blow out visible vapor.

I'm a nervous flyer, and wouldn't want to vape on a plane incase I upset anyone - I can wait for the next airport (even long haul).
I find the hardest to vape is a local pub/bar or outside at work. I feel I want to fit in (and smoke a cigarette), it takes an effort to take the e-cig instead.

Using e-cigs that look just like analogs helped initially, but I do always go outside - personally I see it as a chance to get away from the work desk (or the busy nightclub) and talk to people outside.

Why shouldn't we vape where ever we feel like vaping?

It's NOT smoking, it has nothing to do with smoking, and it isn't harming ANYONE.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it so I do it anywhere I feel like doing it.

It's really no different than a NICOTROL Inhaler. I am not offended if somebody uses one of those in public so why should anyone be offended with me using my PV?
