Not 100% on this, but I'd assume it's like every other battery that starts to go bad. Takes longer to charge, and doesn't hold the charge as long. Also I wanna say that batteries build up internal resistance over time... Which may be what's causing the feeling of not getting a lot of power. Do you notice your battery getting warm as you're vaping?

A fully charged battery should be at 4.2 volts.

When checking with a meter, check them right after theyre fully charged. If they read at 3.78 or lower (10 percent charge loss) its time to change them.

Typically my 18650s last 8 hours....if youre noticing significantly less working time than this, Id say its time to change them as well.

IMO its always better to be safe than sorry where batteries are concerned. Especially when new ones are fairly cheap.

I was having this problem when I had a VV Bogger Box running Dual 18350 Batteries. It didn't have undervoltage protection and the unit would take the batteries to too low a limit. I was going crazy trying to figure out which of my batteries were bad.

Then I bought this charger Soshine SC-S7
22 reviews of Soshine SC-S7 LCD Universal Ni-MH/Lithium Smart USB/AC Battery Charger: FastTech

It detected around 50% of the batteries as bad and my problems went away.

Thanks guys... Typically I recharge them at around 3.7ish, around when they start to feel weak, but there's been a few times where ive drained them all the way down to 3.2 (usually when im out drinking)... How long do batteries last if they are treated pretty well? Theoretically forever? I feel like 6 months is a long time..and I vape all day everyday..I swap between my 18650's about 2 times/day..so 3 battery loads per day

Generally a Lithium tecchnology battery is rated to 300 Charges before losing capacity but in real life it varies among different manufacturers and brands. Also how the battery is treated.

What's not commonly known is that if you use 1/3 of a battery and then charge than you would get 900 1/3 charges out of it.

The rule of thumb is that Lithium Batteries last less time when fully discharged and last more time when discharged less but charged more often.

Also quality of the charger makes a difference. The better chargers [Don't end with Fire] use algorithms that charge a battery softer if a battery is more discharged. Harder when in a certain zone, then at the end they trickle charge the last part of the charge. This is easier on the battery.

Every Battery is different, some brands don't last as long as others. Also they don't just go bad what often happens is that they will start to lose capacity after a while.
