I second the statement about mesh. Its worth it to figure out how mesh likes to be used.
I became a dripper only vaper pretty quickly once I tried a dual coil on a quality RDA, it was easy to become hooked on the flavor intensity, and now, 98% of what I vape, is an RDA on a mech.
The exception is for my Genesis hybrids, namely a particular iHybrid which I always have set up and running. I might not use it as much, but I always have it ready to go in my collection, because once you can setup a genesis properly, its a very worthy vape. AND, sometimes dripping is inconvienent, which is what a lot of people pull out their Kayfuns.. when I need a setup other than dripping, I grab one of my hybrids.
As for the flavor issue at the high power... ALL I heard before actually TRYING subohm
vaping, was how:
A)Id blow my face off and kill kittens with every vape
B)There wouild be no flavor, subohm is just for cloud chasing fanboys.
What I learned adter actually TRYING subohm
vaping.. namely dual coil subohm
vaping was how:
A)The intensity of the flavor of the juice at that power level, is amazing. As long as you build the coil right and dont have hotspots, it will crank out flavor saturated vapor all day long. And for me, while exhaling a large cloud is fun, the feeling of INHALING a large dense cloud, is what I crave. That, "full" feeling you get from inhaling a dense cloud, is honestly, more satisfying than smoking ever was.
B)No kittens were killed.

Id also like to throw in.. Cotton is fine, if you like it, use it. Me personally, I find good old silica wick to be far superior. Now, not all silica is the same, Ive had some silica wick taste very nasty.. but once I found a source of clean, non-tasting silica wick, wow.. Its ideal for MY style. That is, I prefer to build spaced out, "old school" coils, I dont really like Micro Coils. ALSO, I find that cotton mutes the flavor of certain juices. To me anyway. Ive used all the types of cotton that is popular.. believe me, I WANT to love it.. but if Im being honest, the builds I do with spaced coils and silica, FAR outperform anything Ive done with cotton and microcoils.. I mean, for me, there is no question which is better.
My point, is just to say, Yes, you may love cotton. If so, GOOD. Just remember there ARE other wicking materials available to you. Thats all.
