How Did You Come Up With Your Name and Avitar?

I picked my name is because I am a driving instructor. And my avitar is me with my dog Chance who died last year. I miss him a lot, even though I have two dogs now (got a spare this time).
And my sig photo, which may not be there as soon as I quit the analogs, is my Obama tattoo. I worked on the campaign and really enjoyed it. I had never done anything political before and I made many really good friends. Now I am back to just having opinions, not being active politically.

Mine is the namesake of a Robert Hunter tune, Ramble On Rose. In the lyrics she's 'just like' many people and things that should conflict - but don't, because people and life are ever changing. There's no single right way and no single right answer. Life and our role in it changes, and we have the freedom to ride with it. There's also a line I like that says the grass ain't greener, the wine ain't sweeter, either side of the hill.

Yes, it hurt... alot. I have had another tattoo that size and it didn't hurt, but it was mostly lines and shading. It is the coloring in the areas that hurts like heck. It took 4 visits over 3 months. I think he did a great job. It is about 4"x6" on my right calf (should have been the left but that was already taken.)
I should take a new photo as that one looks like he has a head wound. I was still healing. Now the colors are more mellow and it looks like I wanted it to look.
You have an Obama tattoo as well? Or another tattoo?
Obama was a teenager when I got mine. It's a bird flying toward a star and only about 2" long. Yeah, it hurt when the colors were being filled in. The border went pretty easily. But my little tat only took one sitting.

I saw the thread and thought 'ah yes, I'll post my bit.....then I saw it was the flamin' women's room!:-( I mean, I was a member of the Girl Guides.......until they found out I was a boy when I was caught in a tent full of girls at a Jamboree! I just saw this thread tonight and really enjoyed reading through it. We certainly have some interesting members.
My name is one that I used the very first time I logged into a computer many, many years ago and have used it ever since. It is my first initial and more or less a contraction of my last name.
Albert the Gator speaks for himself. I am a die hard Florida Gator football fan and love to follow the SEC games. My season starts in two days and I am pumped!!!!! Albert follows me to most boards unless it is a weather board. Then I post a hurricane avatar.
Hope everyone enjoys the long Labor Day weekend. I am having oral surgery tomorrow so I may be out of commission. If not, I hope to do some chemistry experiments with my DIY supplies.

If you are having oral surgery..be careful inhaling! The air over the tooth, socket or wound..could hurt! I am sorry for you..even if it's something you want done! I just hate anything needle..lol Such a chicken! But what i do like after oral surgery is white food..ice,cream, rice,mashed potato's, a bit of fruit in cottage cheese..white food!

My avitar is me and my name is a shorter version of Mischief Maker...since I've been accused of being a mischief maker since I could walk. And, I guess that's true. When things get too dull, I get a little bored and well...some form of mischief sometimes results! I promise to be good in the Women's Room, however.
My name started out to be nogood. The no is the first 2 letters in my first name and good being the first 4 letters of my last name. We used to have @home (years ago) so I wanted to be nogood@home (I'm a rotten housekeeper) but it was already taken so my husband put in notsogood...it was already taken so hence...the extra o in the so!

Rose those idiots are everywhere. I call them Queen bee's..there are also King bee's. Those people have been around since Noah got his first hammer. They know every thing about everthing and everyone else is just stupid. Too bad their brains froze in 1920. They can't seem to work all these new fangled things..like computers. Some of them can work all the newest things but their hearts froze. They never got the polite gene to boot!
