I personally learned a few months before I stopped analogs. A friend was trying to kick analogs brought one around. It looked like the usual brown tipped, white cigarette with a red-led. I'm fairly certain it was a cheapo since there was not much vapor and plugged directly into a corded charger.

At the time, I wasn't interested in it but 3 or 4 of the others were. He ended up going back to analogs. Blu cigs brought me here since I saw a few promos and wanted to know more... it's a good thing I researched first - I have a 510 kit on it's way.

I don't think you'll be disappointed in the 510. It's a good choice. How did I find out about vaping? My sister. She quit smoking when she found out she's pregnant. She really wanted to safely simulate that "smoking" experience after the baby is born without the nicotine. Once she started doing some research it piqued my curiosity and I started doing my own research. I nearly bought the Blu, before realizing all of the stellar reviews on YouTube included the link back to the person's individual Blucig account and they make a cut for advertising them. I nixed the Blu idea and started reading the forums here and the 510 seemed like the most popular, and widely recommended, starter kit. I ordered my kit and some liquids from Bluemist vaping and have been happy ever since. Now I'm hoping to snag an eGo or, perhaps, a 5v mod device.

Believe it or not, I had heard of ecigs but never saw one. While web-surfing, I came across ECF. Being somewhat ...., I researched like mad before taking a chance on a Joye EGO kit. About 10 weeks later, still using the same equipment (I mostly direct drip with a drip tip). Had one analog in that time (smoked 40 years) and don't miss them.

Two months ago I went too see friends in Dallas who had bought a green smoke kit. I tried it and thought it could work. I was turned off by the $100.00 price tag for something that may have not worked for me, so I started researching and found ECF. I bought my KR808D1 kit was able to quit analogs in one week and have been a happily obsessed vapor for roughly three weeks now. I didn't think I wanted a bigger model, but every one seems to be raving about their ego, so we'll see :)

I was hanging around on a cruise forum and started reading a thread about whether or not they should be used in the Main Dining Room. I got very curious about the whole thing especially since there were forum members there raving about how they weren't smoking anymore since they started vaping. That thread had links on it to this site, and since I was desperate to find something that really worked to help me stop smoking, I came over and started reading. It's been 47 days since I got my eGo, and I haven't touched nor even wanted an analog since. It was just a happy, happy accident that I found out about vaping and this forum.

Saw someone using one. They gave me a flyer...,to order from them. Just didn't add up to me. Started researching...Ordered a super deluxe platinum 510 kit. (HAD to LOOK like a cig...)...Was amazed, bought on a whim and gave up cigs less than a week later...the 510 just tasted better !

Saw an ecig on a news story a couple years ago. Then found out a co-worker actually had one (NJoy RN4081). Then I found out that one of my local gas stations carried them. My first ecig was an NJoy. Not a great experience then.

A couple weeks ago I revisited this site, and found out about the eGO. Now I'm a happy camper.

I found out about e-cigs from the mall and my husband. I have been wanting to quit but didn't know how. He took me to the mall to buy me one and I didn't let him. I just couldn't see paying so much. But the idea stuck with me and I found this site. I reasearched and read everything I could for weeks and then on 11/18 I ordered my Modern Vapor 902. i got it on 11/23 and I love it. I'm down to about 1-2 analogs a day now and I set myself a goal of no more analogs as of 12/6.

I have had a great response from family and friends. My boss even encoraged me to vape in my office so I wouldn't have to go out side like a smoker. :p

I kept on seeing a commercial on TV. I think it may have been blucigs or something like that. I probably saw it over a 3-6 month period of time. I told myself each time I saw it, "Check into that when you get the chance". Well, I finally did my regular hurried up searches, and ended up with SmokeTip(kr808). Then, I found ECF. That's the end of my story at this point.

And, I hope it's the end of my story with cigarettes:)

I've seen a commercial for blu cig but never payed any attention to it. A few months went by & I seen another commercial. I did a little research. ended up purchasing a disposable sample kit from litecigusa. Tried it out & while I wasn't to pleased with it, the disposable kit did keep me away from smoking any analogs for more than 2days, so I knew e-cigs would be ideal for me. Ecigs are a life changer !!

2 years ago ran across someone with an njoy cig and it was ridiculous and weak and tasted like crap.
my dad ordered a 510 a year ago and it was DOA.
i decided to quit last month and the fear of quitting made me decide to research the ecig more. Very good decision!!!
got a GLV2 20 days ago and havent looked back.

I heard about them years ago and when I search for info all I found were horrible stories of how disgusting they were and the taste got disgusting and they got filled with horrible gunk you had to laboriously clean out with little tools.

Then I forgot about them. I've smoked for decades and just kept smoking. Then a couple of months ago my fiance said someone in our World of Warcraft guild was having good luck with e-cigarettes from 7/11. So I started researching on the web, found out there were lots of models and 7/11 wasn't the best way to go, found my way here, researched, read all the sticky thread stuff and other threads here, watched comparison videos on Youtube and bought the PV I wanted.
