Why did you get into vaping? How did you find out about vaping?

I won a disposable ecig in a facebook competition, used that for a couple of days whilst smoking, found myself smoking a lot less whilst using it so did some research and picked up a cheap 510 starter kit from the same vendor I won the disposable from. Been about 3 months now and apart from 1 cig 2 weeks in, I haven't touched a real since!

I tried one in a mall once,,,,,a few years back,,,,,I've been considering it ever since, but the COST of initial set up was HIGH,,,,,,150 bucks for the kit and then you had to buy pre-filled cartos. Although health improvement was a major motivating factor, it took a MONEY motivation to make me go for it (go figure). Once I discovered that kits could be cheaper and still excellent,,,,,,,and blank cartos could be filled with juice, either DIY or much cheaper juices bought online, I was HOOKED on the idea. Now I am using an el-cheap0 kit I bought just to try it,,,,,,,and I intend to buy my volt this coming week I've had tons of help here, tons of encouragement, and I really REALLY love this site and all the friendly, helpful people here!

I really like(d) the act of smoking; the feel, the social aspect, the frequent 15 minute breaks from my busy life, but my health was really concerning me. I'm only 28, yet it is becoming difficult for me to run and I am completely out of breath when I walk up stairs.

A coworker mentioned that he was thinking about switching to e-cigs, and I happened to notice that my local smoke shop sells the disposable ones. I picked one up and it was surprisingly satisfying. I immediately hit up the internets to find out more and came across ECF. Fast forward two weeks and I just received my first order - 2 eGo batteries, a few standard 510 atomizers, a few packs of Boge low-res catos, and a bunch of juice samples!

On an unfortunate side note - all of the juice samples are terrible. Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong, but the disposable ecig from the smoke shop tasted WAY better than these (got 6 10ml bottles - tobacco, banana, butter rum, raspberry lemonade, blueberry, and coffee). They all have the same exact "bad" flavor - kinda like rubbery rancid soap. I've used clean cartos for each flavor, so I'm positive that it isn't cross-contamination.

Sounds like they need to steep a little. Freshly made juices (a lot of vendors make it when you order it) need time to let the flavors steep. I've read this is especially true for tobacco flavors and creamier flavors. I've had a few bottles with that similar soapy texture to them and a week or so later they become quite yummy.

My girlfriend is straight-edge so I'm forbidden to smoke analogues and I'm also aware the the consequences of smoking aren't worth it. So I went to a discount tobacco store and bought a disposable 21st Century e-cig, then a disposable Blu e-cig, and now I've been using Krave's non-disposable e-cigs for a couple months. After almost a month of vaping, I tried an analogue (a Kool, I believe) and it tasted absolutely awful. So now I'm trying to get more information on passthrough pv's and juice.

I had actually quit smoking 10 years ago, but still had a nasty chewing tobacco habit. My 22 year old son decided he wanted to try vaping and bought a small 510 kit. Soon, he bought an Ego C and I took over the small 510 stuff, which didn't quite do the trick. At the same time, my mom, who had been smoking for 40+ years, bought an Ego T and within a week was done with analogs. On a trip to mom's a couple weeks later, my son let me use an Ego and I didn't need a chew the whole 150 mile trip. I immediately went out and bought an Ego kit and had my last chew that night. That was back in Jan., and we're all tobacco free. My sister is getting there. She's down to a couple packs a week instead of a couple packs a day.

Having avoided the guys at London Euston Station selling ecigs (not sure what brand) by telling them I was 'about to give up anyway' about 6 mionths ago... (gasp!) I saw some disposables in my local shop. Thought I'd give them a go, at £7 each. They stopped me smoking, so I then bought an Innokin AIO pack. I'm sure I paid over the odds, but far from wanting to complain about the price, I want to buy the shop owner a beer! There are not many places that I know of to get e-cigs that I know of in the (English) Midlands, so awareness is generally very low.
