I have both the regular Joye 510 and the 510-T. I had Blue Ice High Caliber ejuice in one of the 510-T setups and it is now forever a mint atty. Is there a way to clean it? I am not opposed to mint but with only 2 atties I have 1 tied up permanently. So I been careful to make sure I don't assemble it with other flavors... Bleck.
I can rote through the other atty and the regular 510 setups with out this problem. Should I just buy more atties and call that one the mint atty?
TIA!

Generally I do not advocate using alcohol to clean attys, although some do use it regularly...I found they tend to die faster with PGA or vodka soaks. Not sure why, but it seems to be correlated. With oils, however, a little more help is needed, so I would do this in two steps.

1. Vodka or PGA soak for perhaps 15 minutes. This should get all or almost all of the mint oil out. Then...

2. Hot water and an overnight polydent tablet. Let them sit in it for about 12 hours, then flush out with lots of hot water. I use the atty like a straw and gently pull and push hot water through them. Then shake them out of excess water, and either air dry for a couple days, or 30 minutes in a 200 degree oven (I use a toaster oven).

Been using polydent for over a year now, and many of my attys in rotation have been going for many months, some for 18 months! YMMV, but this totally works for me.
