Hey zacklit, I think these are the carts where you pop off the white top and inside you see a coil of filler and a little wire? I have been using those since I started. I'm not sure if they can be cleaned. I have, however, reused those carts by repeatedly putting in the same flavor juice that I like again and again. If I have the kind you have correctly, then it would probably be best to use a fresh cart, IMHO.

Am I offbase here guys? I'm sure you'll get some way more educated replies, zacklit.

u can clean them .,... go to youtube and there are vidoes some boil them and rinse them and some boil water and use a turkey baster to push and pull the water through them.... just search youtube... to me it seems like more hassle than what its worth... would be easier to just order some blanks and only fill with same type of liquid and designate certain colors to flavors

I don't use cartos anymore, but when I did I would soak them in peroxide for an hour then flush them thoroughly with water. Peroxide was the only thing that got the flavor out... but I'm guessing you could use Everclear or high proof vodka as well. Just be sure to let them dry completely.

I would not suggest you put a chemical that isn't meant to enter your body into a cartomizer. Even with a good flush, it's still just not safe.

OP: Buy some new ones, and try a basic rinse. I've been able to rinse Atomic Cinnacide out of cartomizers with a basic water flush. Make sure you let the cartomizer dry completely before use.

I clean regularly with the steam tube on an old espresso maker that I bought at a garage sale. Pull offf the white cap and blast steam through both ends of the carto for about 15 secs or so. Gets rid of all the old taste/juice. Added benefit of much faster drying than the boiling water method. Also faster, I can clean a lot of carts in just a couple of mins. I have been doing this with the carts that came with my starter kit over a month ago, and haven't lost one yet.

I recently had very good results using an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner ($25.00 @ Walmart.com) to clean and renew my KR808 cartos. I ran 3 cycles: hot water to degunk, hot water and Crest Pro-White to remove old flavor, and cool water. It took about 15-20 minutes to clean 28 cartos start to finish. Then I just air dried them for 24 hrs.

Even simpler, just boil them, remove water, add water, boil again until there's no more eliquid scent from the boiling water and let them dry overnight, my cartos are 6 months old and still good, tho they are so cheap I will now change them more frequently. Sometimes there's a little flavor of the old liquid in it (like menthol) but goes away in a few minutes vaping it with the new liquid.

I "test cleaned" a few cartos using the boiling method.
3 days later they still weren't dry, or even close to being dry.
AFAK they still haven't dried out enough to use, and it's been well over 3 months.
I gave up and just bought many new ones.

That is exactly what happens to me! I put a batch of 68 in the oven at 170 for an hour (after doing reverse spin on every one) and then put them all in a ziplock bag with rice. Some of them still are not dry. I think getting the water out of the battery end is the key. The ones that placed in condom battery end up (forcing water out mouth end) dried much easier.

BTW- I did not boil. I rinsed in hot water.
