So my set of cartomizers arrived in my country from China. They are held by customs officials because they could not figure out what the hell they were.How do I explain cartomizers to customs officials without spelling the banned "e" word? How would you deal with this? Any help would be appreciated.

I find using the term "Personal Vaporizer" is advantageous compared to referring to it as an "Electronic Cigarette". Calmly explain to them that these are required to for the performance of your PV. Other than that, I'm sure there are more experienced vapers who can give you better advice than I.
When I got my VV mod, I told them that it was for a "Vaporizer" and they looked me in the eye, smiling and said well they sure do look like e-cigarettes but allowed me to take the parcel out. I am afraid I might not be as lucky this time though.
I'm trying not to attract attention to this question from Google but I can tell you its neither in North America nor Europe.
If you are in a country starting with S... then you probably can't say anything that will get them back.

Just here to update you guys. I went today to customs, they asked me what these cartridges for. I told them that they are "Filters" for my cigarette. The guy asked his supervisor if "e-cigarette filters" are allowed and he said its ok.

A word of advice, don't buy complete "Kits". Ship them separately and you will have a better chance of letting them slip through customs

And yet if you had a couple of cartons of "deathsticks" shipped to you they probably wouldn't care at all.
