how do i take Riva ego bat apart

the pos. post came apart from sodder ,want to repair withought destroying the outer caseing, has anyone done this?

it's a friction fit where the silver part and the black part join. you'll have to reef on it pretty hard to get it apart. you might end up destroying it getting it open.
