First PV was a Mech mod. Pros are long battery life and all parts are mechanical with no electronics- easy to repair and durable. Generally fires @ 3.7 volts or you can stack batts for a higher voltage BUT you must know battery safety and test batts, etc before stacking. Cons- generally very large in size. No they are not VV/ VW.

I'll add that if one wants to change voltage, a Kick is needed.

Mechanical mod is simple. Like a basic flashlight on/off, only with a mechanical spring loaded switch. Runs direct battery power.
Coils can be built very low ohm for nice warm vape. Vape falls off with battery drain.

Pro - less parts to fail
Con no power regulation

Nice to have one of each - Mech and Elecctronic VV/VW
