So I recently started vaping with Bloog KR 808's and got around to deciding that I preferred to go out for the day with three charged batts and a couple cartos in my pocket over having the PCC. but then needed to expand my charging capacity so I bought a powered USB hub that I can plug the screw in USB charging ports for my batts into. I guess I was just wondering what other solutions people on here have come up with to keep your batteries charged, I know most on here use a lot higher mah batt and having more than one charged isn't much of a problem, but what about smaller egoT users or other 808 fans? What have you come up with, everyone talks about their preferred rig but no one mentions much about how they keep them powered!

When I was using the smaller batteries, having a few of them was the key. I had a charger at work, but I would charge them up at night so that I had a least three charged when I left the house for work. If keeping them charged when you're out and about is your concern, you may want to consider a Personal Charging Case (PCC) that stores enough power to charge 8 batteries or so. Larger batteries make charging less frequent, but it is still ago idea to always have a charged spare.

When I had smaller batteries, I had like 6 of them and a charger. I kept hot and cold ones in different places, and charged a cold one whenever I could. At home, I think I had 3 different chargers that were pretty much constantly running.

After using them for a little while, they'd degrade to the point that I'd go through 2 of them before one finished charging on its own, which was about the time I heard about the eGo Twist. I upgraded and haven't used the minis since.

I just always made sure to have at the very least my USB charger with me. Easy enough to find a USB port at work or a friends house. 12v - USB adapter in the car is a definite piece of security. Would generally toss an AC-USB adapter in my coat pocket/backpack just to be on the safe side.

Now I carry around a spare 18650. I get about a days worth of vaping from one, so having two I'm set for quite awhile. If those go out I've got 1 18490 at 40% storage charge & the stock cap for my PV. Then if that goes out (and I'm apparently messing up some how haha) I've got a 1000mAh twist & SDK in my carry pouch.

I always had at least 4 batteries with me and a USB/wall charger combo. To be honest the constant battery switching and charging are what made me upgrade. I just got so sick of juggling batteries.

This, as well as a PCC and two in whatever vehicle I was in! It wasn't uncommon for me to kill a cig-alike once a month from dropping or whatever!
When I got my Altsmoke BB it was a whole new world for me! I could drop it and it would still work! I still had to carry two or more extra batts, but what a revelation that was! Now with a Provari min, I carry a fresh batt in the APV and another in my pocket and I'm good.
I do miss the auto factor of the cig-alikes, but I sure don't miss the fragileness of them!

I have the bloog as well and am very happy with it. I got the kit with the pcc and 2 batteries . I carry a usb cord in my car just of by chance my pcc runs down. I have a micro usb, mini usb, and iPhone cords in my car. Also in a dire emergency I have a pcc that will charge anything with a micro, mini, or iPhone connection. I think I have all bases covered. I have no desire to upgrade to anything larger. Lol

It only takes one person to start a revolution.

so after a couple weeks with my bloog I have found the solution that works best for me. I decidedly didn't really like the Bloog Pcc, but realized that with the 78 mm batts 2 will get me through the day with the occasional need for 3 and since just carrying 2 extra batts with a couple extra cartos takes up less space than the pcc anyways so I just bought a powered usb hub to charge my batts at night, and haven't had any problems with running out of power yet. now I just need to find a small case with the capacity for 4 to 6 78 mm batts and maybe a small bottle of juice so I don' thave to carry the carto's loose in my pocket.

Thanks for the impute everyone!!

Seems like I've always got a batt on charge LOL. As you just discovered eventually we all find a "rhythm" in regards to charging batts.

and maybe a small bottle of juice so I don' have to carry the carto's loose in my pocket.
I use a Tic Tacs container to hold extra cartos with the condoms on- perfect fit.
Cheers and the Best of Luck.

Well, until my co-worker decided that killing one of my eGo batteries, was a great way of thanking me for initially lending it to him, I usually just used one battery till it died, then charged that one while using the other.
Now, I'm using a Joyetech eVic, which is currently giving me 3 days of battery life before I need to recharge it - and it even has passthrough, so I can vape while it charges, good stuff indeed (until I break the device, possibly while drunk) :D

I'm not so big on charging batteries overnight unattended. While early on I absolutely did so, I've been around long enough to read the rare, but real, occurrences of things failing in bad ways, learned from the misfortunes of others.

I use outlet timers for my chargers, positive shut-off after 3 hours (enough for the batteries and chargers I use). A charging bag is another approach, though in that case the bag itself should be placed on a fireproof surface. Some people have used things like a small metal trash can, with a hole in it for the cord to pass through, again then placed on a fireproof surface (like tiles).
