I've never really had a "Clearomizer", I always used to buy and dispose Cartomizers. I just bought a 6ml tank, Clearomizer and I would really like it to last a long time. It's going to be put on my e-GO. I've tried looking up certain cleaning methods..but some of them are strange or look like they wouldn't do much. I know that there's specific ways to clean them to make them last longer. And, is replacing wicks hard?
Any advice, tips, how you clean your e-cig, ect. would be fantastic.
Thank you so much:) I really appreciate it.

With my clearos I take them apart and rinse them with really warm water until the wicks look white. I then swish all the pieces around in vodka and let them sit in there for about 2-3 minutes. Take out the pieces and kinda fling/ shake them hard to get most of the liquid off. I take a paper towel and squeeze the wicks to get as much liquid out as possible. Then I let them sit for a day or overnight to dry. I've been using the same clearos for almost two months now and they still work beautifully.

Ive never replaced wicking before, so I can't help you there, but it doesn't look that difficult from what I have seen/heard.

AWESOME! Two months? that's quite a bit of time, sounds like a plan. So pretty much just soak them in anything with alcohol? Sounds wonderful. Thank you so much!

Vodka works better than water and it is safer than Isopropyl alcohol. If you have a clearomizer with a removable coil head, when using vodka you can just dry it the best you can with a paper towel then use it right away.

There is alcohol in most e-juices anyway. I use vodka to thin some of my thicker juices.

Speaking of alcohol in juice i just got some new juice that has Glenlivet in it (single malt scotch whiskey) Yummmy!

You can also use a hair dryer to speed dry the wicks if it makes you happy.

replacing wicks is hard to say without the brand.. I re-wick my nova minis and I think they perform better and last longer than the stock heads.
Each weekend:
I rinse them until the wick gets white again with super hot water.. then fill up the clearo and shake it like a polaroid picture.
I then repeat the shake
THen I'll let it sit on a paper towel for a few to dry out the wick..
then I dry burn till I see the coils all glowy and pretty..
then I rinse and shake again to get the remaining "Krusty the clowns" off of the head.. My hand built wick is going strong right now..

Basically I do all of above. If your wicks are short, pat dry with a papel towel and blow from both sides of the head. Some require to be left to dry overnight (Kanger T2). If the wicks are short (all bottom coils) just blowing hard and the head is ready to vape. The longer the wick, the more time it takes to dry. Dry burning better be done with wet wicks so not to burn them.

Dude. Up your dosage or go grab a smoke or something. How exactly do you think I found this thread? Also, "a million threads" is exactly the problem..

Tons of old info, lots and LOTS of completely unrelated info, and even the actual answers are buried somewhere in the middle somewhere of 50 pages about "how is your cat" and "its raining outside"... If you don't know, don't care or don't want to help just move on.. there are literally thousands of other posts just from today that you could be reading instead..

No, the info isn't "buried". Check out one of the (literally) hundreds of topics with titles including "cleaning clearo", "cleaning tank", or "cleaning atomizer". It's really quite easy, and actually MUCH faster than posting a new topic and waiting for answers. I'm not being a ...., I'm trying to help. When you say there's "tons of old info", cleaning ecig parts hasn't changed in the last year. "Old" info is just as good as "new" info.
