how do you clean your empty bottles.

Ive never had a problem with soap and water. Pour hot water/soap into big bowl, dump bottles, soak until I forget they are there and remember again, use bottle brushes (small ones, probably were made for baby bottles), rinse then rinse again. Done.

I only clean them in batches of 10+ because they are too cheap to worry about most of the time

lots of good suggestions here. i use vodka as my go-to cleaner. hot water & soap, then vodka soak. i use 91% iso for pungent smells. baking soda + warm water too. sometimes i have to use all 4 methods. im not sure about the bleach although its likely fine after a good rinse. i gotta try that vinegar idea. that oughta work well. i just read in another thread that oxyclean free is a great cleaner. the one without any scent. the poster was a home brewer so i think he knows his stuff as home brewing requires immaculate supplies.
