Often I'm asked while vaping in public with the smokers what it is I'm doing. Then they ask the usual set of questions. Well do you get nicotine. What makes it safer than a analog. Does it work.

I dont try to convert nobody I dont know personally. Even when they say they would like to get into it. I take the conversation somewhere else. I dont know why but I just think im waisting my breath on strangers who are looking at me and my new fangled contraption as if it where a crack pipe.

I don't think anyone thinks its a crack pipe unless you look like you smoke crack. I am pretty discreet about vaping in public and ussually just put it away or move away from people when I am around a large crown of people. Because people do sk all kinds of questions and what they dont take into account is that we get asked these questions all the time.

This girl smoking a analog today asked me what I was smoking and then went and turned my PV into a Pharmaceutical device and started to go on and on about how they say on a commercial that this pill will do this but the side effects are this and this. I didn't engage with her at all I just left it alone. I really cant say its better to vape because we dont really know. All I know is that I believe its better.

I read somewhere on this forum about someone making some 5x7 printout that he gives out when someone ask him questions.
This way he doesnt have to say the same thing over and over again, and not waste his time.

I dont remember what was all on it, but you could put 1-3 sentances on some basics, then put a link to the newbie faqs in the ECF forum.

I'm discrete when I'm in a smoking-restricted area and in no mood to create a scene, but otherwise I welcome attention. I like the idea of being an ambassador of vaping to the world; I may not convert anyone, but I can at least cleanse a soul here and there of their misinformed FDA-indoctrination.
