How do you feel about the iTaste MVP?

Just got mine today. Put some juice in the i30 let it soak for the drive home about 15-20 minutes but on the way I put my evod on it because I wasn't about to let it sit, for being my first mod in my opinion I got my money's worth I haven't even able to put it down! Also tried the i30 and man does that tank vape also being my first 510 threaded tank. I started vaping about 2 months ago with a ego starter kit upgraded to a protank mini 2 and evod with a evod battery.

Hey new to the forum here, so I thought I would get some posts here, but I love my MVP 2...I think it was a huge upgrade to my ego twist. Been rocking it with my pro tank 3 and pro tank 2 mini. So far great consistency and battery times.

What's your wattage setting you use on your protanks?

$ FOR $ IT'S HARD TO BEAT- And I like the iclear30 so far.

Me too. I was very skeptical when I first saw it. I had a 30ml bottle of some nice 12mg green apple juice handy and I want to get down to 6mg nic asap anyway, so I filled the iClear. I let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then had to add a little over a ml to replace what the wicks sucked up. It vapes great. Big clouds. It does have a very tight draw. The draw will get looser, and then tighten back up every once in a while. I don't have any spare parts for it, so I am not going to investigate the cause. At first, it had a funky, metallic taste. That went away after 2 tanks. That was my fault. I should have soaked it in alcohol to clean it off before I used it. My mini pro tank 2s have spoiled me. They taste fine right out of the box.

I started the same way. I bought a Kanger kit with 2 twist batteries and 2 mini pro tanks. I thought I was doing really well with this setup except that I was constantly charging the bloody thing. The MVP2 completely takes the stress out of vaping. Knowing that my battery isn't going to die on me at some unknown time is a great feeling. Stress like that might cause me to start smoking again... Not.

I run mine at either 6, 6.5, or 7W depending on the juice. Lighter, sweeter juices get lower. Darker, heavier flavored juices get more. I haven't needed to go over 7W to get a great vape out of anything I have.

Just chiming in like everyone else. It's a great unit. At first I was a bit disappointed with battery life but I was vaping at 9 watts and using either the iClear 30/Protank II. I'd get about 750 puffs before it would flat out die. Changed the settings down to 6.5 watts and now I'm getting upwards of 800 puffs while it's still in the green using a Protank II with a 2.2Ω coil. The iClear30 that it comes with is nice but it drinks juice like crazy so I stopped using it.

Now I like it so much that I purchased another MVP 2.0 as a backup along with another Protank II. Don't regret it one bit and plan on keeping at least one of them when I purchase my iTaste 134.

There is a huge huge thread if you search mvp owners or something like that. I love mine. Battery power forever and ever, its the energizer bunny of APVs.
pretty mine :View attachment 279369

Only issue I have is my protank 2 keeps getting stuck. Like need pliers to get it off stuck. Weirdness. Everything else is peachy;)
Have fun and hope you enjoy a purrrfect vape once you get that bad boy!

The MVP 2 is a great utility device. It just works. The only issue I had with mine right out of the box is that the IClear 30 wouldn't fire. Using the built-in resistance check, it read 'NON' meaning the MVP wasn't seeing any resistance from the coil. I cross-checked using my standalone atty resistance checker and verified a connection problem with the IClear. On visible inspection, I could see that the positive pin on the IClear 510 connection was recessed just enough that it wouldn't make contact with the positive contact on the MVP. On my particular unit, the problem was that the replaceable head simply wasn't screwed in. I unscrewed the top off the tank and pulled the rubber cap off of the coil tube. The coil tube was barely screwed and wobbled all over the place. The top of the tube is slotted where the wicks are seated and feed through the coil. Take a wide flat blade screwdriver and screw the coil tube down using just enough force to seat it. This caused the positive pin on the bottom to poke out sufficiently from the 510 connection to restore connection with the MVP.

Sorry, no photos, but it should be obvious if a loose coil tube is your problem. I'd check this before pulling/pushing/prying on the MVP pin.

My MVP 2.0 ... more than just once I've been asked if I was holding radio of some type or
a police radio, even a radar device.. On top is a stainless steel Aspire bottom coil also
Known as an... Aspire CE5-S BDC with two small plastic windows.

This clearomizer
the CE5-S ...by accident.. I've actually pulled the pin out of the bottom of and put back... and it kept right on working.

I ordered 3 ... tested them (using 50/50 vg/pg) time and again against other excellent clearos... nothing beat them, period!
I am hard to please!!! I just ordered 5 more CE5-S clearos yesterday.

In a clearomizer... I do not need glass windows as I order NO e-liquids that I know of that MIGHT melt
the plastic due to having CITRUS acids or other properties that cause melting problems.

The reason for this... is over a half a century ago... while I was in the service... in boot camp...
a few men took it upon themselves to use sliced lemons, oranges and limes, to clean the enamel
of there teeth on a daily basis.

After a few weeks... they all had brighter teeth... but each and everyone of them...
also had many, many cracks in the enamel of their teeth...

I'll drink citrus juices... but roll them around in my mouth... no! Vape them...No!
It's just my choice. Would it hurt me??? I don't know. But, what teeth I have left
at my age... this old fool wants to keep.

I love my MVP 2....I top off mine with ProTank 2's because they are so easy to rebuild. I have a couple of iClear 30's but I'm not a fan of plastic tanks. When I rebuild the coils in my protanks I use organic cotton and they hit like a freight train.... Just awesome!!! :vapor:

what gauge wire do you use?
