How do you inhale/ exhale?

I've been toying around with different techniques today to try and get the most flavor out of my vapor. I have found that different "styles" are yielding different results.

I started by taking a typical cigarette type drag from my protank 2. I'm currently vaping strawberry lemonade from the local b&m from that clearo. It's attached to my Kamry X6, a simple variable voltage battery. Nice airflow. I pull the vapor into my mouth and then inhale into my lungs like I always did with a cigarette. And then exhale through my nose and mouth.

Next, I pulled directly into my lungs. And out through my nose and mouth.

Finally, a typical drag and then hold it in my mouth for a few seconds. Then inhale, and exhale mostly through my nose.

This final technique seemed to yield the best flavor from what I would consider a typical inhale/ exhale cycle.

What do you all do? What do you find creates the best vapor/flavor ratio in your mind?

I have tanks that I prefer different drags for my different setups and different juices. Although one way or another I can take any of the draws you mention off anything.

My favourite is my trident dripper with a dual 3mm airholes on a .8ohm microcoil with cotton and fuzzy cherry 8mg burst o flavour juice. Direct lung inhale and exhale a cloud that fills the room.

Thats my input

Heres to the wonders of vaping :toast:

I tend to "French inhale" a lot. If anyone doesn't know what it is, you draw into your mouth, then open your mouth and slowly push out the vapor and inhale it through your nose as it exits your mouth. Then I exhale through my mouth and nose (there's very little vapor at that point). If I'm not doing it that way, I draw into my mouth with my lips slightly parted (more air mixing with the vapor that way) and try to inhale a bit through my nose (because scent helps with taste), then draw into my lungs, then exhale through my mouth and nose. No matter which way I do it, I always inhale slowly.

Those are my usualy ways of inhaling/exhaling. I always exhale through my nose at least a little, unless my allergies are really bothering me.

I get the most intense flavor on a french inhale (good explanation above). The "intense" isn't always good tho, as some flavors seem to taste worse. But for the flavors I love the taste of, such as blueberry/vanilla, the french inhale is great. I feel like I get more of a nicotine kick too, since vapor is more effectively absorbed in the upper respiratory tract vs. the lungs.

I switch it up a lot and usually either french inhale, ghost it (You squeeze all the vapor out of your mouth into a thick small cloud and then breath it all in), hold it in my mouth for a couple seconds and then blow rings, or do a combination of them. Sometimes I also take a drag and blow it directly out my nose from my mouth without inhaling at all, but with higher nic juices it can burn sometimes (As with french inhaling). My most common all-purpose-ish method, though, is a bit weird. I take a draw, breathe it into my throat but not into my lungs (Generally I do that any time I breathe it in now, unless I'm gonna zero it), then bring the front of my lips together so there are two holes for the vapor to come out, and simultaneously breath it out through both nostrils and both holes in my lips so there are four streams. For some reason this method feels extremely satisfying and I can get quite a good amount of flavor. I think I've heard the four-way exhale thing called "dragon breath," but I'm not positive that's the common name for it.

Also, I've found that when you inhale it just into your throat and not into your lungs a much larger cloud of vapor comes out (Probably obvious, but I thought I'd give it a mention because as a heavier smoker I always used to breathe it down into my lungs).

As we know, it' mainly your sense of smell that provides or, at least enhances flavor. You've to release some through your nose.
This might sound strange but, this is what I do...
Facing the West, (most would think East) I inhale through my mouth for 4 seconds, (I've got an evic so I can time it) then for approximately another 4-5 seconds I hold one nostril, not sure which one, and take the rest in my nose.
I hold it in for 3.5 secs, turn to the East and blow the rest out my ....
This is mostly for cake like juices. Totally flip the process for fruit type juices.
Hey, try it, you'll like it.

I haven't had much of a sense of taste or smell for the better part of the last 16 years so forgive me if I only give a small lol. But in all seriousness, tasting and smelling is sort of a new sensation and I'm really excited about getting a full flavored experience.

Usually each time I hit it I do it in two long gentle drags. I pull in the first mouthful, inhale, then take the second drag into my mouth while blowing the first one out of my nose. The second drag is usually hotter and seems more flavorful cuz I have vapor coming out of my nose at the same time. Nom nom nom!

^ I do that too sometimes. To anyone that hasn't french-inhaled tho, I thoroughly recommend it for vaping. I used to think of it as just a smoke trick, but you really do taste the vape in a whole different way while inhaling thru your nose. I've only been able to find a few flavors that are really great, but it's a huge plus IMO. Some flavors I'll never do it on cuz it's not great, but those flavors taste better on a regular inhale.
