Out in the middle of Nowhere
I have several different flavors in different little bottles, and I'd like to put some different juices in different cartos. But I'm afraid to cause I can't figure out how to mark these little boogers!! Would hate to get my taste buds all set up for some chocolate:2cool:...and then start vaping, only to find out I'm vaping peach!!:w00t: My taster buds ain't ready for nothin like THAT! Not that there's anything wrong with peach...cause I have some, but when you're expecting chocolate......

So guys?? How do you mark them? How do you keep them straight?? I've tried marking on the carto with a Sharpie, but it won't stick!! Should I go out and get some little compartmental thangy?? What are you guys doin out there??

Also....(Warning I've been up since 11:30 last night, so I'm kinda flaky right now and full of questions)....but for inquiring minds, does anyone know why we call a cigarette an analog here?? I went into the addreviations post for newbies, and it didn't say a darn thing about it! I looked the term up online and there's no such word!! lol! closest was analogy...which didn't really seem to fit, so if that's why we call it an analog would you please explain WHY to this newbie?!?

And while I'm at it....asking questions that is....is there any way to add (bookmark) a favorite forum to your profile here? Or do you have to keep scrolling down the main page and go through all that rigamaroll every time?

AND!! Last but not least! Do the vets here get tired of answering the same questions over and over and over again??
But yet they are soooooo APPRECIATED by newbies??

Buy some colorful driptips for your cartos. I usually use driptip on my carto. Easier to pull off a driptip than to pick the small white rubber. And help me remembering which carto has what flavor. And i usually use some rubber bands to mark my prefilled cartos if I run out of driptips.

Sent from my mind using my fingers.

This is what I do as well. I tried using labels, markers etc but they always fall off or get smudged. I have a ton of drip tips now and they are all different. Each drip tip stays with a carto till I toss it.

I have cartomizers with black wrappers so I've written on them with a white-out pen and then put scotch tape over the writing. Works okay, it'll still smudge if e-liquid seeps under the tape but not that much.

I heard that the Analog term is because PVs are electronic and thus considered Digital (smokes being not electronic), although I never really understood that term because many electronic devices don't really qualify as being digital. (ie, old televisions, phonograph players, etc) I might say that a variable voltage PV that uses a linear resistor (shoving off unwanted voltage as heat) is analog and one using PWM(?)(using rapid on-off to simulate different voltages) is digital. (hopefully I'm not wrong about that, but that is my impression of vv mods) Well anyway, not like it matters unless you're totally .... about definitions. If you wanna call it analog then go for it!

I use a tiny dot of colored nail emamel. Put a corresponding color on bottle of juice and the cartos. It's cheap since I have a bunch of colors already :) I have not had a dot chip off yet.

I can't take any credit for this idea since I saw it somewhere else on the forum. Just can't remember who posted it or I'd give them credit, and a big thank you.

I use a different colored drip tip on each carto and it makes It really easy to know what is in each one without having to mark or label them. I know that the blue drip tip is my coffee juice, yellow swirled tip is my tobacco juice, etc.

I don't know what PV you use, but if it has a 510 connection, CCV sells cartos for a great price and if you buy a 15-pack you get a free drip tip. Just pick a different color Everytime you order and it's a way to collect a bunch of different drip tips without paying for them. CCV also has free shipping which is nice when you just want to order some cartos

Thank you for all of the great ideas! I usually write the flavor on my silver cartos in Sharpie and than cover it with clear tape, but have been at a loss with what to do on black cartos (besides peeling off the black coating). I am going to give nailpolish and the ziploc baggie ideas a try! =)
