i don't think you can go wrong with an ego, I'd just suggest trying carts, cartomizers and a drip tip.
I only drip... but some folks like cartomizers and carts.

LF also has some decent juice from what I have read...

But don't be afraid to go on the classifieds and grab a $10-$20 juice lot with some diverse flavors and companies.

I personally prefer to deal with US companies. I use puresmoker, but there are many on the forums under suppliers that are great. While that stuff is probably better than analogs, I would rather the ejuice I buy with Belgian nic and all other ingredients American. I am iffy about ordering from China.

Good luck, but please look into a 510 kit and American juice (my :2c: )

wow thats incredible!! 20% off, ok I'm sold =)

Now before I order, I just want to make sure I should pick the Joye EGO. From what I can tell, the EGO is a 510 with a larger battery.

thanks a lot everyone!

Yes, the mega t-rex is an eGo 900 mah battery. and has 510 threads.....the kit has 2 of everything, just get a wall usb charger or charge it on your usb ports on the computer......it does not come with juice so you will have to order some...

I was talking about the EGO =p

the mega t rex is more expensive =(

That is the one that is 39.99 and it comes with 5 empty cartos....and they are Egos'

look further down the page,,,,it is the 3rd one listed I think
MEGA T-Rex - Carto Deluxe
Each T-Rex Carto Deluxe comes with 2 full devices (2 batteries, 2 cones and 5 Cartomizers).

This kit comes with 2x 900mAh batteries! More than enough power for even the heaviest of Vapers. The switch does not light up on these batteries. Instead there is a ring under the steel band which illuminates when the switch is activated. The 900mAh batteries have a Blue LED. Inluded are 5x Boge 510, 2ohm cartomizers. These are packaged in our handy Liberty Flights zippered carry case.

•2x 900mAh Batteries
•5x Boge 510 Cartomizers (2 ohm)

•2x Cartomizer Cones
•1x USB charger
•1x Liberty Flights Zippered Carry Case
•1x User Manual

but I sure care about the way it is made!

PV or VG are excellent food for bugs (i.e. bacteria). I prefer that the juice I use be made in a shop that will make sure of three basic things:
1) that no solvents are left from extractions or synthetic processes (nicotine and flavoring) beyond an acceptable limit
2) that certain basic hygiene and handling practices have been met to avoid growing bacteria in the product.
3) that the PG used (usually animal based) have been tested for some bacteria such as the one responsible for mad cow disease.

I don't think that "made in the US" is enough of a label. The kitchen / garage USA made brand doesn't inspire trust.

I personally prefer to pay more and be able to find some level of information on the supplier (on line or otherwise). Look for USP grade ingredients and "good manufacturing practices" or FDA inspection.

Price alone is more of a red flag than anything else...

@sugar and spice

I see, do you recommend that over the standard ego then?

I noticed it used cartomizers rather than a cart + atomizer. Is this a pro or con? I noticed they are significantly cheaper than atomizers, do they last as long?

honestly battery life isn't "that" important to me. with 2x 650's I should be fine the entire day. I care more about reliability, vape quality, no leaks, etc.

thanks!

I don't even have to look at the link, I know what you got and I Love It! IMO it is just their way of identifying e-juice to let people know what is is intended for, it is most likely PG base 18mg nic, perhaps 70/30vg, cause it has a nice plume. Having used it for over month now without any ill effects, I think it's pretty good! After all the Chinese people are not out to kill their consumers, that would just be bad business.

Likely is never a good word to use when you're putting something in your body. I want to know what it is, not guess that it might be something that I think is safe. Chinese manufacturers aren't out to kill their customers, their out to make the biggest profit using the cheapest materials. If that means putting lead paint on children's toys... that's fine by them.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

Looks like I can get an EGO for $50. Would that be my best bet?

eGo is a good one, Riva is good as well and only 30USD on their site (with the 20% discount).

Where I buy my juice they use all USP grade ingredients and have good manufacturing practices. I trust them and their lab where they make their juice. It is a company that was started by a vaper for vapers.
I get your point though and I agree. I am a germaphobe with a bit of OCD so I am very critical of what I consume.

They are both joye ego the difference is longer battery life.....cartomizers are so much easier and last longer by not having to refill constantly like you would with atty + cart. other than longer bat life the 900 is sleeker and a little longer, but honestly I have both and I prefer the 900 because I can go all day and not have to worry about charging it.....you get which ever you feel comfortable with......both are great your choice.....just trying to get you the best of what is out there....

There is only one shop registered here at ecf, that I know of, that has an FDA inspection and that is freedomsmokeusa.com

Astatine, please post where you buy your juice...
thanks

Hi Sugar_and_Spice,

That is a good question! I don't want to promote any particular outfit (I personally use 2 that I have researched). I called, and I had some basic questions answered.

I did a search on Google for "e juice USP". I got all sorts of hits in several countries (including China).

A few that looked good at first glance and came high on the hit list:
Electronic Cigarette by Halo
HANGSEN HOLDING CO LTD - Electronic cigarette refilled liquid, electronic cigarette, e-liquid
Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice - The Best E-Liquid in the World - Made Right Here in America

Try the same and see if your supplier in on the list, or contact them and ask.

I think this is a very valid line of questioning. After all, we require that our food, our medications and our CIGARETTES be prepared following these rules.

Ironicaly, it's thanks to the FDA:p

While I agree in principal, and I do ask questions of my suppliers, we have to remember than ecigs are still in its infancy....Not all the vendors here at ecf have been able to catch up to the upcoming FDA regs, whatever they may be....I think most are striving for the same standards as the restaurants and other publc eating establishements. That is why I ask for post, never can have too much info.
Thanks

Yeah. If I were you I wouldn't put that in my lungs. Is it too late to cancel your order?

Remember that even the fanciest juices are going to be much cheaper than smoking (especially if you're in NY.)

I buy from Totally Wicked. They use pharmaceutical grade propylene glycol and nicotine and natural or nature-equivalent flavorings for their liquids. They also sell unflavored liquids and bottles of their flavors so you can mix your own. Here's their website:

I agree with you about the e cig market being in its infancy. That's why it is such a good target for people who want to make a quick buck without too much headache.

I have seen a lot of outfits who seem to be acting in good faith and try making some good products (that's why I wouldn't recommend a particular supplier).

I just want people to realize that they have to do their homework because there is very little existing regulations. Price shouldn't be the major selection criteria in this case. I think...
