How does bottle feed systems work?

I have been looking around and I can't find any info on specifically how they work. I do not understand how the liquid gets into wherever its going (suction I assume and going to the atomizer obviously) but is it going to a special cartomizer? Does it have a puddle effect or polyfill that holds the liquid?

I think if this is what I think it is, then this will be the best for me. I am a heavy vaper and I am tired of priming my caromizers in my DCT and dry hits in my tanks. I see these 5v mods so this is making me think they can handle HEAVY vaping and produce a large amount of vapor.

Bottom feeders have a bottle inside that you squonk/squeeze and the liquid goes up to your connected carto or atty and gets inside so you can vape. REO's are the best bottom feeders.

What More2 said. Also, you can use any unsealed (with a hole in the bottom of the threaded side) cartomizer or atomizer. Some, not to say most, bottom feeding mods will accept unsealed rebuildable atomizers as well.

Just to muddy the water...I don't have a Reo...but I DO have a bottom feeder Bogger Box and I consider IT to be one of, if not, the best! Here's a thread about them. I thought I might get a Reo, but when I emailed them for information on one of the blemished ones I got a confirmation that my email was received, but no one EVER contacted me about my question. I took that as an omen, and when I had an opportunity to get a Bogger on the classies, I went for it! NO regrets!!

Agree with this 100%. I've had only the best service from Reo. Shipping has been very fast and service is great.

The thing is i have both kinds of bottom feeders. I got both sizes of Vmods first and then my REO Mini and will be getting either a VV REO Grand or a REO Grand next month.

I like the Vmod because it is a gravity feeder BUT don't think they are the best bottom feeder because if it breaks after the 6 month warranty then tough luck and that is important to me. So as long as they last I will use them. That said everyone is different in what they like and need to find what that might be by trying different mods.

REO's mods for me is the one I can trust to last and to be easily repaired.Lots of video's and a forum to help with any questions. I like the forum because it is so well organized and easy to post in.Plus the REO can use all kinds of carto's or atty's. That is what makes me happy

I have no doubts that the REO is an excellent BF mod, and I'm not ruling out getting one, by any means. It may be as soon as next month...maybe. Thing was, at the time, I was anxious to try RBAs due to trying to cut down my vaping costs. I felt I was ready. I might have gotten a blemished Grand...but when I didn't get a reply to my question...about that same time I was alerted to an absolute steal on the Bogger on the classies. I figured if it didn't work out (as in I didn't get it) I'd just wait and see what I felt I wanted next month between the two feeders. Then the guy selling the Bogger contacted me a few days after I'd pretty much given up and made an offer...and I accepted . It's practically new...don't think J. used it more than a day or so. And it's beautful. I have been eyeing the wood boxes awhile with longing. This one did not disappoint and the price was one I could deal with at that point in the month. I'm pleased with it. Currently using a Cisco Spec 306 LR atty...but have started my RBA adventure. (SERIOUSLY mixed reveiws on that!)

Maybe next month I'll check out the REO again. Meanwhile...I still love my Vmods...and am enjoying my beautiful Bogger Box. All is good.

I couldn't make it work plus it wasn't the look i wanted to use. madvapes still sells them

It looks like a pipe and some people liked them and posted pics in the thread.

I have a total of 4 bottom feed rigs. My go-to rig at home is my vv Reo Grand, since I can make minor adjustments for whatever juice, atty, or carto I throw at it. I take a Vmod with me when out and about, since its weight and size tucks nicely into my shirt pocket. I also built a couple of bottom feed rigs, just for the fun of it. One is a vv rig using the MadVapes board.

In a drawer are an assortment of pv devices that haven't gotten any use since the first bottle feeder arrived in the mail.

The draw on a Vmod is not airy at all. Using the Vapage AMG pro spec slant coil atomizers or thei Silo cartomizers (pretty much any unsealed 510 atomizer or carto) is a smooth, easy but none airy vape!

BTW...the Vmod is a bottom feed mod...it's not a tank or clearomizer. Just thought I'd throw that out there, just in case there was some confusion!

Thank you so much, I'm looking for a bottom feeder. I have used spinners with protanks/clearo's but hate the way the draw is on those devices. I want to make sure I not trading to the same kind of thing. I'm also hoping this will be easier then cartridges because I have issues with the filling and dripping process.

I have three vMods...
2 XLs and a smaller 2.0
And I love them all.
I have packed up all of my other mods, except for my Natural mechanical mod with a RDA for dripping at home.
The vMods are great- low cost, pocketable, inconspicuous, nice full vape with a carto or expecilly the Hybird atty.
With a 18650 battery and 9ml of juice on board...anyone is good for a full day....that's on the XL.
Three months....zero problems.

It's nothing like a round battery mod with a tank or carto...
I could not carry that around.
Wouldn't last long in my pants pocket....
And looks too 'different' to carry around by hand.

I find with my provape 1, I am very sensitive to battery drop off, so have been worried about unregulated mods. Which is why it was backing up my MVP, until the USB charger broke. The VMOD looks perfect, except for that.

Any idea how much longer a power curve stays fairly steady on a VMOD with a 18650 is compared to a 14500 unregulated mod?

A fresh 14500 with a Viva Nove 1.8 is great, it just drops too quickly
