hey everyone.

so my question is how to you guys steep your e-juice.

I went back to smoking for a few months but am giving vaping another go as I did so well the first time. anyways im using flavor crafters mac maurier which is good as soon as I buy it. but the sour granny I got from maple leaf vapes doesn't have any flavor at all.

some bottles I have gotten in the past have been green and awesome flavor. the two I just bought is white and smells like green apple but when I vape on my nautilus mini I'm not getting flavor at all.

how do you guys steep your e-juice and is there a quick way to steep, as I really want to get off the analogs.

thanks guys...

Maybe they changed the flavor. A lot of E-Juice vendors will change flavor recipes without telling their customers. If it is clear now and green before then that would be a pretty good indication they changed it. Maybe for the better. I don't like vaping E-Liquids with artificial coloring.

The good news however is there are plenty of vendors that make Green Apple flavors. I'm sure you'll find one with the flavor you're looking for.

When I get new bottles, I put them in a zipper-baggie and dunk them in a sink of hot tap water for 20 minutes. Then I shake them for 4-5 minutes while the juice is loose. While they're still a little warm, I remove the caps and tips and let them stand in a well-dusted cabinet for 3-4 hours to let any alcohol or other volatiles evaporate. Then I recap, shake again 4-5 minutes, and back in the cabinet they go for at least 2 weeks to "steep." During this time, I'll squeeze-exchange the air and shake again every 2-3 days. Creamy and tobacco flavors get a little longer steep time, maybe 3-4 weeks.

I've heard of people speed steeping with multiple hot baths, and even using ultrasonic cleaners or brass tumblers to shake bottles thoroughly for extended periods. I haven't tried any of those methods, but maybe they'd produce a good result.

So glad that you are giving a vaping another go. I just think it is wonderful. The consistency of juice is probably the number 2 reason that people begin the DIY journey. (#1 being huge savings) Lighter and juice like fruits are practically ready to vape as soon as you get them in the mail. The darker juices and the tobacco's, I have found that they benefit from having patience. I would imagine the best way is with the ultra sonic cleaner that I have read so much about. Others have used crockpots to putting the juice in a ziplock bag and running through a dryer load of clothes. People can be quite creative. I just put the juice in a cool, dark place and shake it twice a day. I'm sure I have some in there now that I totally forgot about.

Good luck to you and I hope to be reading about your successful vaping.

I usually just take the top off, the little needle part too, and let er sit for a week or so.
And you just reminded me of the bottle of mac maurier tobacco I've got upstairs. I can't use it alone anymore though, too gross. But it mixes extremely well with FC's Green Apple. I usually got 50-50 in the tank.
