I have found that the bottom red light that stays on all the time drains the charge over time. While it will charge a batt it's necessary to charge the PCC all the time because of the drain.
Okay...I don't know where I got this idea but I thought that when you use the PCC if you don't take the battery out or at least lossen it when it is done charging then it will drain? So that's not true?
Also....can you charge your PCC with a battey in it?
Thank You

If you leave the battery firmly attached in the PCC, it will have no ill effects. I generally loosen mine when I think about it, but have left them for a week with no problem.
Yes, you can do both at the same time, but it will take longer. I generally leave mine charging overnight, or at work on my laptop.

About seventy-five hours by my calculation, although I'd want to recheck those numbers another time or two since it actually seems faster than I expected.
It's not the LED killing the battery nearly so much as it is the self-discharge rate inherent in that battery chemistry...
PawPaw...thank you so much for clearing that up for me! I have btw, found some excellent products that can be used for multi charging but cannot post URL's yet. Just Google the word "callpod". Suprisingly your much better off buying directly from the manufacturer since Amazon dosn't have them yet. What they DO have is an AC to USB wall charger that will charge TWO pcc's (or e-cigs) at the same time AND hold an hours worth of charge in reserve (basicly a tiny battery backup) small enough to fit in a purse, briefcase or glove box for $12! It's called "Music Power 0900-72 Encore Dual Port USB AC Charger with Rechargeable Extended Battery" So if you were ever stuck with no power and a dead PCC....vape away!
There are also several multi-port USB hubs (4-7 ports) that are configured to nicely fit the little wireless USB chargers that V4L sells. Just make sure you get one that has AC power as well as USB power. You could use your PT and be charging 6 batteries at the same time.
There is a 2-port AC to USB power adapter that has been posted here many times that costs about $4.00, shipped. Hopefully, someone will come along and give you the link.
As far as "battery backup", this one is very hard to beat & you can recharge any USB device with it:
