My father, mother, and I all vape. We have 4 different commercial mods at all configurations.
*Before I ask my question, here is a little backround to our usage.*
We typically drip with atty's, and drip to top off cartos as well.
We use LR attys at 3.7, and attys and cartos @ 5v, 6v, and 7,4.
501 and 901 are our attys of choice.
We use different juices, from 4-5 vendors. Some are pg, vg or a mix.
Nic levels are at 11-12mg.
We store our juice in a large plastic box away from sunlight and heat.
NOW for my question..
When we all stopped smoking analogs in late December 09, we noticed a alot of changes in our bodies from quitting. My family is in restaurants and we avidly cook. My tase and smell were heightened to a level I forgot I had.
After months of vaping, my whole family has noticed a DROP in taste sensitivity.
We cannot taste our juices as well anymore, honestly most to the point I cannot taste them anymore!
Is this a mental adjustment or is something going on here?
Or can juice sucked in the mouth, or long term e-liquid exposure affect our sense of taste?
When I suck juice in my mouth, I do feel a tingle, which we all do, can this be affecting my taste buds?
I only noticed this affect after I started to drip heavily at 6v, and my family started dripping around the same time as me as well......
Has anyone noticed this before?
Any insight would be appreciated!
