How far ahead do you buy your juice?

I'm trying to get a little stockpile going of juices. I'm currently figuring out how much I go through in a day, so I can get about a month ahead of what I need so that the juices can steep before I use them.

I'm thinking a box of "currently in use" juice, one steeping and one that's just been purchased. In theory that would give each bottle a month steep time if the steeping box had a months supply in it.

I don't want to get crazy with storing juices, but I also want to be able to not worry about what bottles need more time and what's good to go.

Right now I'm buying from The Vapor Room and trying to stick with their weekly sales. I might have to switch to a 4 month system since by my figures (and math is not my strong suit) they probably do a 4 month sale rotation on their flavors. I've created a spreadsheet (yeah I'm a geek) to keep track of how much I use and how often things go on sale (ok I'm a frugal geek,) but being new I'm basically at the very beginning of figuring things out.

juice is generally accepted to last for at least a year. Use it in nine months max and you're safe. That gives you a lot of room for planning.

I steep some juice for an hour and some for a month. I've never found any that take longer than that. Typically the fruit flavors don't need much. The complex flavors need more time. Tobaccos are in the later group.

IMO taste testing juice is a good plan. Taste it when it comes in and if you like it, vape it. You'll see how it changes over time. If you don't like it, steep it and check it again later. It's all about what works for you. There is no right or wrong here :thumb:

We order ours at least a week and a half before we are halfway through what we are using. That way, by the time we get it, it will have a chance to sit for about a week, with some flavors being able to sit for longer.
Oh, and VaporGod has a 30% sale on their ejuice through the 28th. If you are a menthol fan, their Arctic Wolf is not to be missed. :)

What exactly is steeping?? Sorry newbie question but just curious

Almost exactly what it sounds like.

Letting your juice sit so the flavors have a chance to mingle/combine, etc...

You ever notice how chili always tastes better the next day?

Same idea.

Even a day or two usually makes a difference - but some people do it for weeks or months (on purpose).

Some people shake, soak in hot water, open them up...

I order 180ml of my daily eliquid once a month. Of course, throughout the month, while looking at vaping sites, I usually place several small orders to try new juices that sound interesting. But, my ADV I always keep plenty on hand. By the time I open my last 60ml bottle its usually payday and time to place my next 180ml order.

I have 2 flavors that I alternate as my daily vapes, and I've yet to run out of either in the (almost) 3 weeks I've been vaping. Since I use <10ml per week, I'll probably place an order for more when I get down to 15-20ml combined.

I enjoy trying new flavors, so I also have a stockpile of flavors that I like, but don't love. If it ever came down to it, I could smoke those if my order was late. :)
