quitting smoking usually increases a persons appetite, i think usually from wanting to just be doing something and maybe vapping helps remove that urge but with all the great and wonderfull flavors of juice have you found that it helps keep your appetite in check or does it actually make you hungry having those flavors in your mouth alot?

Well, for one, things taste SO MUCH BETTER. With that being said: My first e-cig week, I ate SO MUCH food. I mean twice as much as I usually eat. However, once my body got used to the e-cig, it started to regulate itself, and I'm back to normal. The only difference my appetite has now than from smoking analogs is that I can taste food so much better now! :)

My appetite has decreased. The part I like best is that I sing in a band. Since I switched to vaping, my vocal range is back. Was having trouble with the high range with the analogs. Now I am back to the range I had before I smoked! Have only been vaping for a couple of weeks! Breathing better, tasting better, feeling better, singing better, saving some money. No negatives to any of this!

When I started tasting food better combined with getting used to the PV and maybe not getting optimal hits (so probably less nicotine than I needed), I had a temporary ravenous period of a couple of days. First I pigged out at dinner at home. And the next night we went to an Asian buffet and I went wild haha, the middle of which was the chili soaked baby squid leg clusters, then a whole plate of blander stuff to get the chili off my tongue, then hands covered in butter and seasoning eating plate after plate of giant shrimp that had a slight lobster taste to them, then 2 desserts. It was the first time I was still eating at a buffet after my larger fiance was stuffed. I could have kept going but I had pity on him.

But then it calmed down and I'm back to more normal eating, maybe with more snacking after dinner. Other than needing to snack less I'm doing OK.

In the first week or two, I dropped 10 lbs real fast. When I thought about it, I really hadn't eaten much at all. Since have not lost any more, eating more normal... which isn't a lot, but more than I did when I first started vaping. As long as I'm vaping, I feel no need to stuff food in my mouth. Most of the time, I eat just because I really need to eat to survive, but not out of hunger.

No changes in appetite for me, really, but everything sure does taste better - especially that first cup of coffee in the morning.
You might find that you'll be making better food choices for yourself, now that you're not smoking analogs.
My doctor said that quitting cigarettes was more important than worrying about weight gain for now. Best to deal with big life changes one at a time!
