OK, so the title is a little more extreme than what actually happened, but this was shocking to me none the less.
So I received a shipment today from blue mist. I got several e juices, Captain Black flavoring, and liquid sweetener. I was really excited about about the flavoring. I smoke a pipe for a relaxing hobby and wanted to see how close this was to the real thing. Never tired mixing my own up from scratch. So, I researched it and watched youtube videos. I had everthing I needed to make a no nic trial version, I've been cutting stronger juices for a while.
So, I get a ten ml bottle, put 7 in of 50/50 pg vg (It is a pipe flavor, I wanted tons of vapor), 2ml of flavor and 1 ml of PGA for throat hit (I've seen it in many mixing guides, but they never give how much or percent of total make up). Took a few toots, tasted ok but needed to be thinned a bit. So I added a few drops more flavor, a few drops pga. Getting better, but it needs to be sweeter. So, I added three drops of sweetener and 2 more of PGA (from an eyedropper not bottle). Took a few more drags, getting really tasty. The atty started to warm up just a bit, so I said one more drag and put it down. I topped off with 2 drips onto the bridge. This it when it happened....
POP! a loud, strong pop. Popped so hard it blue my T-tip cockeyed and my VaprLife Joker right out of my mouth. it even startled my girlfriend. Seems like I used to much pga because it was a flammable vapor pop, like when gas in a soda bottle is lit on fire (we get really bored out here in gods country). I also forgot the the sweetener is suspended in PGA or some similar liquid. Luckily, I still have my hands, mouth all my hair and the atty works. Anyone else have this happen or have something better for throat hit?
