The above comment was posted by trog himself on the SD forum yesterday... whilst he was responding to a post where the GG and the problem reported was being discussed.

Trog, dealt with the post in a truly gentleman like manner.

I have said many times that Trog is a very good man with only bad language. He is a man like all and he make mistakes but he is still is a man, not a "girl"

You are right. And you say it true. My bad. If you don't forgive me, you are a better person for it. I do like you and your post. I was just stating that some people don't feel comfortable going against the grain. I am in a very bad position doing it myself. I have offended my friend Imeo. He may never forgive me. Was it worth it? NO! I try to dig myself out, and the pit gets deeper. I still try to be honest, but I just sound like more of a jerk.

I think di was referring to the three of us extending our hands in friendship with a welcome which you breezed by without comment. I could be wrong... :)

Grim... ours too will be a good read.

We have set out the various headings and added some content already, but posts on a designated thread on hints and tips would be brilliant, and then those not already covered would be added.

Mind you... Moses holding a GG to part the Red Sea would be taking it a bit far...:D

This is a very interesting thread. What I've learned is that metal "may" trigger the GG. I've got two Screwdrivers and one Adapter and 1 prodigy on it's way. I love my Screwdrivers but they too have a learning curve. I don't use the AdapteR enough yet to give any opinions. Haven't received the prodigy yet.

I also own 4081's and 4081 passthroughs, 801's and 801 passthroughs, 510's and 510 passthroughs. It's amazing the "little" differences.

Many vapers vape differently and handle their respective e-cigs differently. Many vapers have different preferences. Then we add in the small differences and yes, it's hard to wade through everything.

I appreciate this thread.

Now that being said, please, when will the new GG (I believe it's called the transformer or something like that, not sure) be out? I'd like very much to have one of those :)

I think I know what Drum was getting at originally.

I don't own a GG yet, but may get a trans when available. But trying to research the product is difficult because almost all GG threads seem to drift OT into social discussion.

I have seen Imeo be very responsive, and supportive of his customers, and this is a big selling point. However, for those of us who want to research his product, both pros and cons, it is difficult.

It would be nice to have a clean thread, where someone could go to read about Imeo's product without having to sift through all of the social banter.

Yes Zaxx we agree, hence it was decided a few days ago to do exactly that.

You will if you search through find the exact thread where it was decided....lol

and thats exactly what is going to happen.

Sometimes you feel that a simple answer of yes, we are doing that, just isnt enough and people want to upset and stir the emotions of others... and why?

We said it was in hand... and it is..

Plus we have said that support from everyone who has experienced a problem or solved one is a valued contribution to this very concept.

Drum, I ask again, am I pretending? Is this what my post said? GG will fire more rare than SD or other manual cig and I said why. Its because his switch isnt on top. Didnt I said that its like othe3r cigs with one more issue? I compare things and the facts says: More often "front button cigs" will fire up in pochet or in the shirt's pocket than GG. And let me ask you something else. How often you put your SD in you pocket without protection?

Is is better to put in your pocket a locked button that fires with coins, or its better to put an unlocked cig in your pocket. What do you prefer? The locked is ok without coins and the unlocked is bad with or without coins. See why I am not pretenting? Its not my style Drum to pretend. My style is to see the facts and deside what is netter or not, and of course updating IMMEDIATELY all the issues even if the GG is better than other cigs. I dont want "better", I want "the best"

It is more rare for me? NO it is not. Is it more rare for a newbie? Probably not. Do I like the switch on the SD?..NO. It's garbage. One of the things I have always bragged about is the switch on the GG. Am I upset that prior to now people were less aware of it, yes. Would I rather have an ecig that could have a button that locks than a button that fires with the help of a coin?: NO. Once again, I am not a newbie. On the same token, it seems really dangerous to me that a newbie could accidentally fire their GG anywhere with a coin or other metal. People should know what they are getting into. With any manual switch ecig one should disconnect the atomizer prior to putting it in their pocket. The problem comes when your guard is down. Maybe you just busted your ... off at work all day. Maybe you are driving your car. Maybe you are at home. It is one thing to disconnect the battery when you are busy then when you are not. This ecig is dangerous for those of us who have our guard down. I hunt and know much about gun safety. I would never own a gun that was more apt to go off when I wasn't paying attention then when I was. It's like having a safety that works until you it touches metal and then the gun fires. It is not safe.

Drum

when you come on here again or even in another thread in a minute or two,

you will be shocked to find that all this is left behind,
here in this thread.

we are a very loving, and forgiving family,
nobody is punished for more than a minute or two,
thank goodness or I would be in it all day and night -- ha ha ha
no body holds a grudge,
and any offence is soon forgotten, as we move on,
and we forgive easily,
as we hope for others to forgive us just as easily

so dont feel bad,
you got to spit it all out,
you got your answers,
and now life begins anew..........

and you will accepted as a friend and family member

welcome sharon:thumb:

Thank you dikerry! What sweet people are on this thread!

ETA: Can the transformer that's coming out work well without a filler in the cart? Can I drip into it? I'm finding that for some reason I've developed a reaction to the fiber fillers. When I direct drip I'm fine. When I insert the cart WITH filler my throat immediately wants to close down and it's scratchy and it hurts. Not sure why, but it's what I'm finding out for me.

I've used both the filler that comes with the carts and a homemade filler out of polyester bats. Strange, isn't it, is it just me?

Talk about different strokes for different folks! I researched and found that many people say the scratchy throat is the juice, whether it's PG or VG. But for me I'm finding it's the fiber!! Trog on the Screwdriver EMPHATICALLY says NEVER to drip, that the Screwdriver must be used with a cart (with fiber in) to work properly and give consistant hits. I find that if I use a cart with fiber...scratchy throat to the max!, if I use the screwdriver with an empty cart (no fiber) it's inconsistant, but when I direct drip into the atomizer and draw directly off the atomizer, it works great.

See, it's amazing how different things work for different people. Oh, how I feel sorry for the inventers, the headaches we must cause them. Perhaps when and if I ever get in line at the right time for the transformer I shall send a few aspirins alone with the money, but then I pay with paypal (if that's allowed) so perhaps I should add in a few dollars so Imeo can buy a bottle of aspirins.

drum......

we all care, we all want to be safe, those who make these fantastic e-cigs, whether that be Imeo, Trog or Cash, or any of the modders out there who are busy now... all want us to be safe.

We want e-cigs to be around a long time, we need to show governments worldwide that we are doing all we can to make our e-cigs safe.

So we most certainly dont disagree with you there....

So let Imeo create a forum for suggestions etc.,

Zaxx...

have you offended anyone? - never in a million years...:)

Sharon...

Adopt me? - what a lovely thing to say.....thank you so much :)
