dikerry: Then I shall have to adopt you too, what a lovely sense of humor you have!!

thank you sharon,

we all do on here, we are a very happy and loving family.

we laugh and play together like schoolkids,

it is sooooo much fun.

here you can laugh when you feel sad,
and flirt with someone when you feel a bit naughty,
we love it all................

and we run and hide behind each other when we get into trouble
and Imeo comes to punish us ..................

but the best thing of all --
we all look out for each other,
take care of and protect each other
sounds like a real family huh.................

OFF subject . My janty stick is now acting up. I had this for two or three weeks and its already giving me problems. Im sending it back. See if i had the GG I wouldn't be having these problems. I go to hit the switch and the light starts blinking. (right off the charger mind you) I hit it again I get a three secound drag and then it cuts off (suppose to have a 7-10 sec cut off). I hit the button again and the red light starts blinking. I look inside the thing its flooded. An 801 atty with only three drops of liquid and my janty stick is flooded. Give me a week to get this settled and we might be working on a new GG-Transformer for me.

Sharon

I drip rather than use a cart, on my current e-cig, as it an 801 atomiser, and I am hopeless at getting the juice right out of the cart..

I would await the answer from a GG user here for specifics over dripping direct, but in general dripping is more than an acceptable way to vape.

Your condition may not be all that unusual, it may simply be that most people listened to the advice available and blamed PG or VG..

So its very interesting...

You know some folk have substituted the material tea bags are made of instead of fibre... so it may be worth trying that Sharon..

Excuse going off subject Imeo....

Grimmer..

Take the atomiser out, clean and dry it, put a tissue inside the shaft where the atomiser sits, clean it, by twisting the tissue. Dry around the USB port.

leave to dry for a couple of hours.

Have you a separate charger? if you have re-charge the battery. Getting it wet with fluid, shorts it out, and it needs charging from scratch.

If not, plug in once all is dry and re charge via USB, which will sort it, although more slowly.

Right

Apologies all....

Back on subject now...lol

It is more rare for me? NO it is not. Is it more rare for a newbie? Probably not. Do I like the switch on the SD?..NO. It's garbage. One of the things I have always bragged about is the switch on the GG. Am I upset that prior to now people were less aware of it, yes. Would I rather have an ecig that could have a button that locks than a button that fires with the help of a coin?: NO. Once again, I am not a newbie. On the same token, it seems really dangerous to me that a newbie could accidentally fire their GG anywhere with a coin or other metal. People should know what they are getting into. With any manual switch ecig one should disconnect the atomizer prior to putting it in their pocket. The problem comes when your guard is down. Maybe you just busted your ... off at work all day. Maybe you are driving your car. Maybe you are at home. It is one thing to disconnect the battery when you are busy then when you are not. This ecig is dangerous for those of us who have our guard down. I hunt and know much about gun safety. I would never own a gun that was more apt to go off when I wasn't paying attention then when I was. It's like having a safety that works until you it touches metal and then the gun fires. It is not safe.

I will try to convince you in another way Drum. If you put off the atty with SD why not with GG? Then the safety is the same.

yes already did that but luckly the battery is fine. I think the liquid got into the usb and possibly shorted it out. Im getting blue lights now but im going to let it drain out for a while and hope that works.

Bristow, Ok.
When I first ordered my GG I was so excited and came here hoping to get my questions answered. I was so frustrated because my questions were ignored while everyone was socializing. I felt like it was a closed community for a while. I was going to leave and go buy a Z. I was PM'd by a very dear person who encouraged me to stay and be more persistent. I had tried to PM Imeo many times but his inbox was full. I was VERY discouraged here. Finally I got a PM through to him and he went above and beyond trying to get everything straighted out for me. I was afraid to be very persistent because of people getting kicked off forums. I didn't want to get kicked off. I just had questions. Now I can enjoy the fun thing here. It is just not easy to have fun when you are so frustrated. Everyones questions are very important and should be answered. I think a user guide posted here would be essential. It would answer questions before they had to be asked. Every ecig I bought had a user guide of some kind. The GG needs one too.

@ sharon... I don't know why you couldn't drip with the GG. I haven't tried is as I don't have a problem with the carts on it like I did with some other units I have. You just have to keep it very wet. Since it's so powerful it tends to dry out quicker.

I had a bit of trouble with a sore and scratchy throat when I first started vaping. Seems to have passed. Have you tried Fluval as a filler? The fibers aren't as loose as the polyfill stuff.

@grimmer... sorry you're having issues with the JS. Nothing quite as frustrating as having your main vape not working correctly.

I am so sorry this happened to you, and it can so easily be the case that people dont know the answer but post to try and help and as a result things get missed. If in doubt start a new thread, is my policy.

It wont be allowed to happen again.......problem threads will be left for those who know the answer and those alone to post, as I am sure Imeo will agree.

We do get carried away, there is no doubt of that, but we do it, as in this thread to lighten a situation that could turn nasty and as such not end up being resolved.

You can see this one has gone on for 9 pages, all dealing with one problem, but diversifying in order to cater for all who are posting, plus lightening the mood a little, and all too often a cry for help can get lost in amongst it.

So please accept the apologies of all us on this forum for this, it shouldnt have happened, and we take the blame.

I'm sorry you felt that way too, stormy! I know that I read for three solid days before posting. I didn't want to 'bother' anyone or 'intrude' with questions. But as soon as I did, I was welcomed with open arms and everyone nearly tripped over themselves to be helpful.

I totally second Christena's suggestion as bolded above. It's no biggie to start a new thread and that way it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Questions asked - questioned answered. Simple as that.

:)

Sorry Grimmer, it's actually my least favorite. Don't even use it. But we are all different and I know many people seem to LOVE the 510.

Oh i bet if i had the GG the 510 would be a back up. Now my janty stick has become my backup to my 510. I get more flavor and vapor from it.
