How in the world am I supposed to get this flavor out of my tank?

Hey all, I have just upgraded to the Nautilus tank and my first choice of juice was a peppermint candy cane that I made. It's very good however I am getting burned out on it but when i tried to clean everything and put in a new coil it still tastes and smells like peppermint. I have tried everything, grain alcohol, hot water soak nothing seems to work!!! I love my tank and want to use different flavors but this is really starting to pee me off! I am half tempted to use a mild solution of bleach just get the flavor out!! but that I think would not be a wise decision

anyone got a solution to try?

I guess there is an advantage to using disposable esmart clearomizers at $1.49 each.

If soaking in isopropyl alcohl overnight and then letting dry for several hours does not clear it up then I give up. I am assuming you are apeaking of the tank and not the coil. If you are talking about the coil then probably the only way is to replace the coil/wicking.

I haven't tried soap or rubbing alcohol. I guess I could give those a try. Do you dilute the alcohol?

Robert, I have like 12 clearomizers their rebuildable but super cheap but the flavor and vapor are nothing compared to my nautilus. It has sent me to a new vaping experience and when I try to use the cheapos it just isn't the same.

just treat it like a dirty dish , , make sure you wash it really good to get all the soap out and blow the air holes 1 or 2 times so all the water stuck in your 510 can go away

Did you clean the mouth piece good as well because the juice could splash into it while you were vaping and give you that flavor with the rest of them. I have that tank and vaped cinnamon and anise flavor in them without having the taste after I change out the coil and just rinse tank with water.

Yep I cleaned everything very well. I think the smell is coming from the large rubber gromet at the base of the tanks as that is where it is the strongest. I've scrubbed and scrubbed that sucker but nothing.

I am not sure if that bottom hardware grommet is removable, although I do see that they do sell replacements for that bottom seal, so maybe it is?

Hey there :) yep, it does come off, you just have to get the lip out from the edge of the metal and take a small straight edge screw driver and gently pry it up. I'm gonna have to try some different options and see if I can get it deodarized cause I got a new flavor I want to pop in there. I put some in there thinking that it would just vape away after a bit but it did not work. I know it's got to come clean. Makes me wonder if I am making my flavors too strong. LOL
