Dude, wish I could join ya, but I've got work in the early in the am.. Have a few friends there that work at the sportsbook, I'd probably already be a drunk, vaped out jerk right about now!!
You shoulda came with us. Me and 3 friends and a dog went way WAY out the desert then to the mountains. Built a fire and smoked....stuff and drank beer and shot shotguns and blasted music and played guitars and bongo drums from 1am to 6am. It was freakin fun. And mostly free. I mean, you don't have to keep putting money in a machine or pay to stay in a public bed.
which btw I don't understand. Gambling isn't guaranteed fun! Neither is staying in a hotel room (at least at the South Point, unless you were hiring a ..........you weren't doing that were you? Nah).

Naw.. I am antisocial. I just had a few drinks and watch the smurf walk by.
It was a nice little retreat to get out of the rut tho.

Cmon! I'm antisocial too. Thats why me and my anti social friends do weird stuff like go the desert and play drums and electric guitars through amps powered with lots car batteries. I think we should get a generator soon too. Fire is cool, but I hate having to wash the insides of my nostrils durring my shower after every trip....unless....are SUPPOSED to wash your nostrils every time you shower??...
any way there's beer there. No gambling but I mean...we could bring dice... but there's better stuff to do like chase wild burros and gather fire wood and shoot your shotgun and blast the music real loud, and play drums out in the desert. Outside. So remote you could be as loud as you want. Get alll drunk and the ride back off the mountain and then through the desert onto the hghway is so long you're good by the time you get there! And then it's STILL smooth sailing on the the road back to the vegas. See I'm sober!!!
I've been thinking of doing shows out in the desert like the old Kyuss and Dwarves and other desert rock shows out in Cali. I have a PA, and I would glady lend my guitar cab to the bands. The bass amp is a problem, and two guitar players would also be weird, unless they'd be willing to plug into the PA. I've made circuits for that. But I'd hope to have the bands only have to bring their drum kits. Maybe only a few peices of em. And their guitars.
This all has, and will happen at night. Prolly from like midnight till 6. Like the Queens video for "Make It Wit Chu"

sounds like you had a blast litteraly, sounds like fun and with out hurting anything, (shhhhh) they will create a law aginst it no ones making any money off of activities like this. If you decide to make this a public activity let me know.
Yah, might be fun as long as it's at night. For some reason, probably related to how much I've been inside recently, I don't do so well in sunlight anymore.
I wonder how many Vegas Vapers we could get together for a stress decompression "meeting".

I know. I haven't been posting as much either... Spent the weekend with a friend on the strip... It was a dangerous event.
