My teenage son got me playing World of Warcraft for about a year. (It's a really addicting game should you get into it; almost as addicting as ECF.)

You get to choose your character's sex, and both of my characters were human women, a warrior and warlock. You spend the whole game watching your character's backside as they jog from place to place, so I figured I'd rather see a woman's backside more than a guy's, even if it was an animated female's behind.

I don't know why I felt like sharing that.

Rocket, you handled this well. It seems you have a very trusting relationship with your girl and are understanding she had a life before you met her. I recognized you as a male the first time I saw you post. Not many chicks go for that sort of avatar, although I have dated at least two that would, but I digress... What a lively thread this has become! I am seeing a lot of ex-spouse bashing, which is curious. You know, some marriages/relationships just don't work out. No one is crappy to the other, they just grow apart. Sounds like this might be the case in Rocketpunk's girl.

Now if you need to talk bad about someone's ex, let me tell you about my ex wife....

I thought the same when playing City of Heroes,SWTOR and D.C Universe online until some creep started hitting on me cause he thought I was a real girl.

Totally weirded me out and left me feeling cheap and dirty....I guess payback is a biot...!!

I suppose it is a hazard of the game. Funny how I find you in the midst of this lively discussion, Zapped....

Well said and so true, some relationships just don't work because people do grow apart. I basically grew up with my spouse and we've kinda defied the odds (of marrying at a very young age) and are still together.

Good for you. No such luck for me in my marriage. In my marriage, there was rage, betrayal, disillusionment, jealousy, resentment and hatred. Then we got back home from the Honeymoon....

I started my ex-wife vaping, her husband thought it was great. I also take my ex to many of her doctor appointments (she can't drive due to epilepsy) and about once a month or so my ex and I have a 48 hour horror movie marathon at my house...her hubby hates horror movies. The three of us often will have lunch together as well.

Believe it or not some divorced folks part on good terms...

i'm divorced and re-married myself

i say...........give the guy the advice...offer to call him up and explain every single thing...give him your number in case he has issues and go out of your way to help him

nothing ever good comes from being standoffish, rude, etc

i decided early on to befriend my current wife's ex husband....i have step children and didn't want to make things awkward for them

use this as an opportunity to deal with what could be a potentially difficult situation in the future

it's a lot harder for a guy who sees you as a friend to do something really stupid to the woman you are dating....always take an opportunity in life to be positive
