I have seen a lot of post asking "How do you save money vaping".
A pad analog user will spend on average 8.00 per pack that is 240.00 per month.
If you are a non smoker you save on average 100.00 per month on your Health Ins.
add another 40,00 per month for gas to go get the stinkys

vaping cost
Ego/evod 50.00 juice.25 tank, 20= total 95.00 for initial setup.

Analogs= avg. 380.00 per month
vaping= avg. 95.00 one time set up
SAVINGS= 285.00
Adding years to yours and the ones around you. = PRICLESS

Have a Great Day. VAPE ON!!!!:vapor:

With the "sin" taxes we got over here, you can easily double that price per pack. Switch that to rebuilding atties and DIY-ing juice and you save quite a bit... even if you allow yourself to pick up some nice new gear every couple of months. The way I see it, the gear pays for itself with the difference between pre-mixed and DIY juice. Anyway, huuge savings from not buying cigs.

I didn't think I was saving anything from vaping except my health. But then I decided to wrack my brain & add up how much I've spent on supplies & equipment vs how much I would have spent on cigs over that same amount of time & it turns out I spent half as much vaping as smoking. That was exciting news....so now I have a provari on my wish list since it seems I can afford it (never got one cuz it seemed too pricey for me). :)

Well in 6 months of vaping I am $50 in hte red thanks to my recently purchased REO Grand + RM2. I can honestly say though now that I have this beauty in my hand and have had a day of using it. Other than wick, wire, bottles, tubes, batteries and DIY juice supplies, I am done. I found my happy vaping setup. I am officially in maintenance mode now.

No doubt it is much cheaper to vape. Some people just can't stop buying the latest and greatest, so it jacks up the cost, but it is not out of necessity. You can get a nice setup with plenty of tanks/clearos for under $100. I vape pretty heavily, and I could get by on $25/month for juice, easily.

If I were only counting wick,wire and DIY juice supplies my monthly cost is probably under $10. Rebuildables + homemade juice REALLY cuts the costs down to near nothing.

after 10 weeks of vapeing I am $115 in the RED however I have
3 ego batteries(not counting those I gave away)
3 pro tanks,
2 protank minis
3 evods(not counting the 4 I gave away)
a nice Mechanical Mod bought 2nd hand,
a charger and 2 batteries for the mod,
a VRT on the way from a co-op
a passtru for use when egos are charging,
2 chargers for ego type batteries,
1 case to carry extra setup/juice
a brand new box(5) of replacement coils (12 coils I need to dry burn and maybe try to rebuild)
25 bottles of juice I love. (gave away 15 or so bottles of mistake juice)
I will break even in less than 4 weeks. I am now in maintenance mode and should only need to buy juice twice a month ($60),coils ($9) and put away a bit ($20)for replacements on ego batteries, regular batteries, an occasional new atomizer ect.
so $90 a month vs $148 for smokes.
Yes I may get it down lower if I can manage to rebuild my coils...and even further if I decide to replace some of my juice with DIY but that will be down the line if it happens

Technically you save more in health insurance, medical bills, long term care, etc... on top of that you have a better chance of selling a car/home furniture etc if its not covered in smoke. the list goes on.

air filters if you smoke in the house or even a cars cabin filter doesnt have to be changed as often. lighters, the hidden expense of having to buy one when you cant find one or run out of fluid. the price of all the gas for your car for all those times you randomly have to go to pick up a pack of cigarettes and all the mints, gum, munchies and/or drinks you buy while you are there that you normally wouldnt.

so yeh. the price of the smoking is a lot more when you look at the big picture.

I began vaping to QUIT smoking. It took me almost 2 years to completely make the switch, but thanks to better hardware and raising the nic from 18mg to 24mg (and a few months of WTA eliquid), I DID IT!

Although my goal was to give up analogs, I've also kept a running record of ALL my vape expenses (including 3 gift ecigs to friends) in my signature. As you can see below, I'm saving gobs of money by vaping...and I smell nice, too! :D
