Good to know. For some reasons, !st class can be 2-3 days while priority can take 4 days.
Certain places are very different in each service.

I live right outside of Boston Mass about 375 miles from GoodProphets. First class shipping goes right to the Boston post office then to my town - usually takes 3 days.
Here is my order by priority mail.
Shipped from GoodProphets Monday afternoon to New Jersey - 85 miles
Shipped from New Jersey to Maine - 417 miles
(Maine is 2 states further away than Massachusetts) This took a day and a half.
My package is still 100 miles away.8-o
Where will it end up next?8-o

Beacuse of this, it could be true that 1st class is faster, but
right now from the holiday, all packages will be delayed to some extent.
I would say in the future, please let me know in the comments box at checkout
that 1st class is preferred. it may help, or we may test it that way.
Hope it comes tomorrow, as tracking updates are kinda hit or miss right now.
Worse then normal.

I'm rather amused at trying to figure out the post office's logic.
Scarborough is just a small town in Maine. Why they would send it there instead of Boston is beyond me.

This was priority shipped, but I ordered 2 510 batteries yesterday and got them today. So obviously excellent shipping time. Though it also doesn't hurt that I am the next state over.
Other orders that weren't priority took 2-3 days. Normal delivery time for first class mail. Not to mention that the package was in my state by the next day, but sat at USPS for 1-2 days.
He shipped the same day. Definitely can't complain about that.
Rob is the man and with these constant sales and giveaways ... cream of the crop.

I got my package today - pretty fast considering it shipped on Monday afternoon and went through 5 states to get here!
It traveled 650 miles in a roundabout route to get from Pennsylvania to Boston!

I have been reading this forum almost exclusively for about a week now trying to decide which one of these damn things to get. After long nights of reading threads start to finish finally decided on the VapoRite 808 from GP. I ordered Sat morning at 7:00 am and recieved my order in the post today. 1 bus day? I dont think ive ever got shipping that fast!! Good job GP. Anyways had a small question for all of you who have ordered plenty from Rob. Do these things come precharged for the initial 8 hrs or do i need to do that now? Thanks for all the help in my *endless* search for a replacement to analogs.

Remarkable service! I placed my order pate Friday night (01/27/01), the invoice was printed that same date and the nicely-padded package arrived Monday morning. I'm confident it would've been two day service (Pennsylvania to Oregon) had it not been over the weekend.
