How long did you lurk before registering?

I lurked for about three days before joining. Several vendors at that time only had ECF threads...no website. Like V4L. So, that's how I bought my first KR808 (after the njoy mini). Had to register to post to the vendors I was interested in. But the information was (and is) invaluable. Only forum I belong to and visit relatively often for new info...and a few laughs here and there. It's also an active forum, unlike others that I've visited.

TWO YEARS lurking (while vaping). I'm always busy on another forum, so didn't want to get involved elsewhere, but after finally achieving the success of transitioning to vaping 100% of the time, I wanted to share my happiness.

GOOD equipment, GOOD flavors and GREAT information made all the difference for me, and THIS is the place to get the guidance, support, ideas and inspiration. Experience...well, we each have our own path to plow, but we don't have to do it alone!

I lurked around the forum for a week or two before joining. I have a friend that is now a very active member here and as stated in prior post I too wanted to be able to see pics of other users mods.

This forum has been a very good place to find pertinent information on the vaping world so why not register and join in on the fun.

I actually registered right away. I think it was because I wanted to look at a picture, and the system wouldn't let me. It took me 3 months to make my first post though...

I would say I lurked about a week, soaking up information. It was sort of intimidating at first all the foreign lingo, detailed answers, the blogs, ect

I came in, off and on, for nearly a year while I was researching e-cigs. Mind you this wasn't a daily task until near the end. I only wish I would have jumped in here earlier because it would have made my personal questions get answered so much quicker, and I could well be heading into my third year of vaping instead of my second. I kept coming to ECF because I liked the format and the amount of content.

I didn't actually join until I ultimately bought a kit at 7-Eleven of all places, LOL.

I lurked about an hour then jumped right in. Ha. When I first joined I signed up as "JCNewbie" because, well...., I was a newbie. Who knew I'd stick around forever??!! Anyway, about 1,200 posts and a year into it, I finally changed my screen name to "JC Okie" because I felt self-conscious with the newbie name. Anyway, love, love it here. Fro-man, I'm also from Tulsa...and I'm also a REO Mini owner.... If you ever go to the Vapor Kings store on 34th & Mingo, ask for Jan....I'm there a lot and would love to meet you. Or....if you haven't been, you should go. It's a store/vape lounge with tables and chairs and other vapers to visit with. Free juice for taste testing.....really neat place to go. Maybe I'll see you there.
