How long do you go before changing a coil/cotton?

Interested in how long people go or have gone before changing out the cotton or coil from their rda?

I have a 1.4 ohm microcoil wrapped with 25ga that's been in my Atomic for a good 6 weeks or so, and I doubt I will need to change it any time soon. Cotton has been in there for a couple of weeks and had at least 6-7 flavours through it but still vaping like a champ

I used to change cotton every couple of days or change of juice, but I've found that a new flavour can wash out the old one pretty quickly with no nasty in between stages. Just had a peek in there and still looks pretty clean!

I typically change cotton every other day. However, I have been vaping Deadly Sin out of my Atomic for the last week straight with the same cotton.....Some might say that's nasty, but I am getting just as good of flavor today as day 1......

Coils? Well I can make a coil setup last for months, but I usually keep rebuilding them out of sheer boredom...

Cotton? I go from every other day or so, to several days, depending on the juice. Often times, the only reason I pull the cotton is to dry burn and clean off a gunked up coil, if I happen to be vaping a juice that gunks up coils quickly.

I think that's how I've gotten away with not changing the cotton for a while, using lightly coloured juices. If I use something very dark like Monkey Fist, it does gunk up much quicker. When I look back to first toying with an RDA I'm surprised how forgiving they can be when I used to read about safety, good practices and horror stories. Of course I still use them safely, it just quickly became second nature and I became more comfortable with playing around.
