How long do you inhale when you vape?

I don't generally time myself...so I actually had to try that!
About a 4 second or so pull into my mouth, then inhale and slowly exhale. I do vape more like smoking a cigar or pipe than a cigarette.
Even though I was a long-time smoker, it has always been more about the "taste" than the throat hit. Even on analogs, I never deeply inhaled.

For anyone who was saying it's awkward holding your throat shut to attempt to not inhale the vapor into the lungs:
Try just taking most of a breath first, and don't worry about trying not to inhale. Picture taking a breath and kinda topping it off with vapor.
It's a lot more natural than we make it sound when we talk about it. If it's awkward you're trying too hard

It can be different for everyone depending on device, liquid, and how long they've been doing it. As I've recently returned to e-cigs myself after being a pretty strong pack and a half a day guy, with the occasional cigar thrown in, even I puff differently now than I did a week ago.
My first day or two on 36mg nic, 80/20 p/v and a VV eGo type with a clearomizer, I *needed* to feel that deep in my lungs. My second night with the device I let my wife and a friend try it too (her new PV is in the mail as I type this) and we spent a good couple of hours passing it around like a joint ended up puffing on it pretty much the same way too. It became an unspoken contest to see who could take the longest, deepest puff, and then exhale the most vapor. We were all holding it in for a few seconds too. Anyone who doesn't think you can't feel a "high" off of nicotine should sample some long hits of 36mg some time!
Now my go to flavor has been a personal blend of 36mg Marb Menthol (50/50 p/v) cut with 11mg Chocolate (80/20 p/v), at about a 1:2 ratio. Very smooth chocolate on the inhale and exhale with a nice menthol finish and after taste, excellent with my morning coffee (36mg Pixie Dust cut with 18mg Redbull 1:2 is my "cocktail hour" favorite.) I tend to take a very quick primer puff followed by maybe two seconds heavy draw into the mouth and then often "french inhale" probably half of it (inhale it through your nose as it slowly oozes out of your open mouth), finished by inhaling it all into the upper part of my lungs followed immediately by a slow exhale through mouth and nose. I definitely inhale into my lungs. Same as I used to with a cigarette? Decidedly not. I like some flavors more in my mouth and nose and keep them primarily there. Same as I used to with a cigar? Not quite.
Haven't had a single puff of an analog since I brought my new e-cig home. It's passed the bar test and the "hanging around with friends that smoke" test as well, with ease. My wife and three friends are now about a week behind me on the same path (Wife puffs on mine until hers gets here hopefully by Saturday, two friends bought theirs two days ago and are *almost* analog free, third friend bought a nice VV months ago but didn't really give it a good try until I bought mine)
