I notice a slight change in flavor before any burning happens,It takes time to figure out.Your best bet is to look inside the carto and SEE if its damp and lightly slushy looking.I top off every once in a while if it needs it or not!

You use the liquid then? I'm just using the prefilled carts. Can they be "topped" off too?

Awesome!! Thank you!
So, I'm guessing that you dont have to wait, or let the carts dry out for hours on end before you can use them right?

Do you mean after refilling? I usually wait about 30 minutes before using them, but best to let them sit a while. Like others I made the mistake of trying to use one right after filling and ended up with some nasty juice on my tongue - not fun :)

Ah! Okay...thanks for the info!!

It depends on whether you want to attempt refilling carts with juice. For me, it was too much trouble. Alot of people say, you do need to dry the carts out before filling them. Some people have success with adding juice to a prefilled cart. My best advice, experiment. You will figure out what works best for you.

I am still working on my first 808 cart and hoping that I can tell when it's finished. I smoked this all day on my normal smoke schedule and took about 4-6 good puffs about 8 times today and it's still going strong.

Even if it runs out now, I'm happy. Instead of smoking a half pack of marlboro (@ $8 per pack) I smoked probably almost one cart - cost .75!

I strongly suggest going to the mod (for modification) forum and then the cartridge subforum. In there you'll find different ways to help make the liquid wick into the atomizer better. The blue foam mod was already mention. Personally I like the straw mod. Try a few and once you find one that works for you you'll enjoy vaping more. And your carts won't last as long because each inhale will burn a bit more juice because of the better wicking. It will taste better and give more vapor and throat hit too.
