This is weird. I use AW IMR 18650s for my silver bullet. They are honestly taking like thirty minutes to charge on my pila. When I take em off, I check with a voltage meter and they read 4.1 volts. Do I have a Super Pila? Lol

Same here dude.. I've used a lot of different chargers and the pila is by far the fastest charger I've used.. when I first got it I thought my batts went bad or something.. IMR's charge way faster then the protected stuffs too

Was just about to link you to this thread. For everyone that has been posting here saying it takes 2-3 hours; Vegas is the person that got me posting this thread. Its a huge fluctuation between what I thought was normal charge times and what your saying your charge time is. I charge mine at 3.2-3.5V and it still takes hours not minutes.

Mine was bought brand new at Provape and has always been this way. The only battery that charges in under an hour is a 14500 and its really hot when the green light comes on. In fact I know its the smallest recommended battery for that charger and I made a thread worried that the 14500's got to hot, and charged to fast.

Vegas, do you use that charger to top off smaller battery's? I would be worried that a smaller battery would vent if it only took like 5 or 10 minutes to charge it.

Yeah I also charge my 18350 batts on my pila. The 18350s take around 8-9 minutes to charge.

After 3 hours 40 minutes of charging
When I removed the batteries from the charger they were warm

My 14500's where so hot that I had to put charging on hold till someone said it was normal for that size battery to be that hot when it came off the charger. That was only a 900mah and it took almost an hour to charge it. He is saying it takes like 5 minutes for his smaller battery to charge. Starting to wonder.

I charge all my batts (AW IMR's 18350, 18490, 18650) on either my Pila or Xtar 2. Sometimes one may be warm, but I've never had a hot battery come off either charger, even charging the 18350's at 1 amp on the Xtar.

I did some 'google research' on the AW IMR batts. And it "looks like" even charging at 1Amp w/ the Xtar is well within specs for the following batts. Even the lower rated batts are good up to 1.5A and 1A w/ the Xtar is just 2/3's of it's max. To this 'dummy' that seems well within the batts acceptable charging rate. The Pila charging rate is .6 amps, and the Xtar can be set for either .5 or 1 amp
