I'm not usually one to complain, but I submitted my verification information 5 or 6 days ago and still haven't heard back. I've checked my profile numerous times and nothing has changed there yet either..

Wow, I have no idea that can help you. I got verified the first day they started verifying members. It didn't take even a day, but that may have been at that time. I don't know if it takes longer now.
j0ker, like all the staff, is a volunteer. It's likely he just hasn't had time to process many verification requests due to the holidays. Also, if your method required receiving any emails make sure you check your junk folder in case it went there

Maybe that moderator is on vacation for the holidays??? Maybe contact another moderator? It sounds like your in a tough spot.
I read a post by him recently that says it could take over a week these days due to "life" I'm patiently waiting too! Classifieds are screaming my name!
The post that I read by him said it could take up to 5 days now. That's fine with me, I expected such when I applied, but now I'm at or past that point and it's starting to get a little aggravating. This is exactly the reason I haven't bothered getting verified in the past because I knew it would be a pain. I wouldn't be in such a hurry except someone offered me to take their place in a co-op buy and I can't even get to the thread.
I did my verification by paypal on purpose so it would be quick and easy.. I shouldn't have gotten any emails using that process, but I've been checking my spam folders anyways and haven't received anything.
I know it's the holidays, but it would be nice if it was posted somewhere that verifications won't be processed over the xmas week, if that's what's going on.
It's common sense that it's going to take longer. It's the holidays, I wouldn't be surprised nor upset if it didn't happen until January.

People, j0ker handles the verification process. He's just one guy, with a job and a family, so be patient, I'm sure that he is doing the best that he can, to get everyone who wants to be verified, verified.
