Anyone else notice how slow USPS is now? This is the third time in a row this has happend ordering from multiple vendors not just VV.

My new VV flavors are basically taking a week to come via priority mail. Called USPS to complain they simply said "it's not guaranteed". If it's not guarenteed why even bother seperating First Class and Priority Mail? I told them at this rate why should I bother choosing priority when it never meets the 2-3 day delivery or the 2-4 day delivery of even first class? They argued that they try their best etc. but the bottom line is I paid for a service that did not come through. Last night it was processed through a sort facility that is 2 hour away. It will sit at this sort facility for an entire day, missing the post that morning and waiting until the next day to even move.

With the VV site closing and everything I have been waiting two weeks for my order to come in and am running dangerously low on e-liquid : / It's USPS - not VV, I know. #frustrated.

I have never used USPS Priority from Annette. If she ships an order on say a Monday, it is usually here by Wednesday. I don't understand it, as she's in CA and I'm on the opposite coast in NC. A couple of vendors only ship Priority and to me it's a rip-off.
ETA: My sister also lives in Charlotte and HAS used Priority from VV and it's never gotten here sooner than with first class.

Anyhoo, I hope you get your juices very soon, in the nic of time! <-- pun :)

I am trying to be patient, but losing the battle! USPS is definitely on my 'list' these days. My order was shipped priority on July 13th with the notification showing expected delivery on the 16th. Tonight I checked the tracking, it is still sitting in Cali!

Someone's priorities are not on the same page as mine!

....need my delicious VV flavors.......
(not blaming Annette one bit)

I have family that works for USPS and they said that there is no difference in delivery time between Priority and First Class. You're just lucky if you get it a day early with Priority. Tracking is about the only thing you are paying for and it's not mandatory that they scan it at every exchange during the shipping process.

Yeah as I suspected. It's kind of a scam now - priority mail that is. Giving the illusion of faster delvery times when both priority and first class mail travel together. And if you call them to complain they fall back on the "not garunteed" part. I even told the guy if it ain't garunteed then I should get a refund if it takes longer than advertised. If it arrives promptly then no refund.

Wow, it's worse than I thought! Very true that the tracking scans are not mandatory too. Frequently, packages aren't scanned except at acceptance and delivery and I get poor, worried customers wondering why their order hasn't left California, only to have it delivered that afternoon on the other side of the country. The only advantage I see to Priority Mail is the harder cardboard Priority boxes which do something to protect orders from USPS's rough handling!

I've been one of those "poor, worried customers"! I just wish they'd tell you when it's left the USA not just California. I've heard stories of how customs have nabbed orders. Next order though I think I'll try your regular (first class?) mail, that way I'll have no tracking to watch and worry over. Ignorance can be bliss?!

LouP, all orders automatically come with tracking, including orders sent via First Class. The difference with international orders is that the USPS can't track a package once it leaves the US (unless you go with Global Express Guaranteed which is ridiculously expensive) so you'll only see the package moving until it leaves the country, usually via Los Angeles. The sign that it's left the US is that the package stops moving. However, I've heard from other Canadian customers that the Canadian post keeps the same tracking number so you may be able to locate your order by calling the Canadian postal service with your number. Let me know if this works!
